Is Pyollian cake going to be useful anymore?
Apparently, it used to help stop critical failures, which would mean losing resources. Now, even if you critical fail, you dont lose your resources.
I never found out, but does it affect later experiments (like weaponsmith or armorsmith), where a higher assembly success means greater chance for higher experimentation success? If it does, it would still be useful. But if it doesnt, then because resource loss is no longer an issue with critical failure, then it would not be required in Doc crafting.
Any ideas?

the initial chance of crit failing on assembly has been removed (like after you click what resources you're going to use before experimentation). idk if this food you speak of helped that or not, but if that is the case, then yes, its useless now.

There isn't a difference between an Amazing and Great Success on Assmebly so without the crit fail issue, it isn't too useful. I know I won't be using it much anymore.

i believe it helps your success of assembly, which could mean better chance for an amazing assembly, etc....so yes this food would still be needed.

Amazing success on the assembly ROLL helps increase slightly the experimentation amount % per point. The only problem is that amazing successeson an assembly roll are rare enough and you only get one shot at it when you do the primary combine. Everything else is an experimentation assembly check which is bespin port related.
