Thread: Doctors should have some protection

Nah man.. adds to the excitement..
Im sure in the "real" star wars galaxy thugs would be around aswell. They would be trying to mug you aswell, trying to get your cash etc.. it shouldn't be any different in game.. The beasties (squills) have ever right to beat on you aswell imo.
My crafting doc is also master doc/ master merchant. also with no fighting skills.
When he goes out surveying, and placing miners i always buff him anyways..
There have been a few times, where he was stuck on agro within the sp terminal. in these cases i usually ask someone to kill them for me. Or bring my main char to him to do the job. Personally it doesnt bother me, it adds an element of risk to the game.
I still think it would be cool if you placed a miner that it was attackable by the opposing faction. Only while its going up mind you, not once its constructed.

The game is designed for that sort of event. You could have easily chosen to add combat to your template, but you didn't (which I actually think is kind of cool). I have an ingame friend who is a DE/MA and sends me tells once in a while to come escort him while he moves/checks harvestors, etc... It's fun for me, and he either tips me or gives me a droid for my trouble. That builds character interaction which, in turn, makes the game more fun.
My suggestion is to make yourself familiar with several combat classed folks and offer cheap/free buffs/heals or tips in return for their bodyguarding services when available.

You are missing out on a great fun
My friend's toon is AS/MA with no combat skills, and I, sometimes, use his open lots for harvestors. His toon is equipped with prenerf-nym's slugthrower and C12s, and it's so much fun to kill stuff with those
