Just came back in game for the CU. Ok, I'm healing wounds at only 50 to 60 pts at a time. Am i doing something wrong or is this normal?

Welcome back into post-CU world. According to the last dev posts, that is intended.

Wow, thanks. How else do players get healed if not from docs?
Docs, sitting AFK in a Med Centre for hours, Jedi healing and TK Meditate is about it I think.

Just trying to come to grips with the post-CU world and wondering if anyone can provide some insights;
1. What is the rate of wound healing in a Medical Center
2. How much does a Novice Doctor heal per heal, when tending Wounds
3. Does the Doctor get these increased at any point, ie Master Doc - if so what does this rate increase to?
4. Some people have said that CM's can heal wounds better? Is this true? What are the heal rates for them (if anyone knows)
Thank you very much for your time.
Cheers,
Lutheriel

I'll answer these as best I can.
1. I haven't noticed any difference with healing wounds in the Med Centers myself. Not sure if anyone has documented results for this yet. So I would say the same as anywhere you heal wounds. Medical xp as of now can no longer be earned in the Med Centers, only in combat, so there is little reason left for doctors to be there.
2. It seemed like a novice doctor healed wounds the same as a master doc from my and many others' experiences. Not sure if this has been changed at all, or how well documented.
At novice u can heal bout 50-100 with -250bf, master u can heal 100-150 with 250bf+ i've found
3. See above.
4. CM's and Medics can't heal wounds. They heal health, but only doctors can heal wounds. Jedi are the only others who can heal wounds now.
After reading your post again, I'm wondering if you are asking about the healing rates for healing health, and not wounds? If so, there is a good post somewhere in this forum about the differences. With the recent changes with the CU and the following fixes it is tough to give a definite answer to these questions right now, though.
Hope that helps.

My wound healing at Novice Doc has never been over 34 in one shot, at zero BF. I've tried drinking Aitha and pulling out a droid, but the healing never gets above this range. I have seen another doc doing double my heals. Battle Fatigue now seems to have a reducing effect even below 250.

Once you get improved wound healing you'll see your ability double. I have not found a way to heal over 100 wounds. The most I've healed for is 88. How do you heal that many wounds, Dapu?

Thank you Dapu (and others who have replied)
And yes I was specifically asking about Wound Healing, since everywhere I go since returning to SWG post-CU I see people with degree of black bars. I've always done a blend of either TKA/Doc/CM/Scout or Carb/CM/Scout and have been trying to work out the best to help those I play with and all the poor people I see in black everywhere.
Cheers,

Glad it helped (I hope!).
Whirr, what I wrote was quoted in yellow, so I never have healed that much. I still stick by the differences being very minimal, at least how they stand in the current system.
Since the CU, I started out at 2-2-1-2 doc and healed roughly 65-70 per wound heal. Right now I am a 4-4-4-4 doc and I only heal about 80-85. I guess that would mean a lot if each heal could be done fairly quickly, but since the timer is so slow it takes forever either way.
Get a person that has 1000+ wounds from space, and you'll sit there for quite awhile healing. Got a very nice tip for doing that myself the other night, in fact.
If there's a big bonus when you get to master I don't know yet, but that would be welcome. Also, any other way to improve wound heals levels to those thatthe other poster listed would be much needed info for any doc in the game to know.
