I have been a doctor on Flurry for a few months now and i have been buying my buffs because i could never get my buffs to go 900+. Recently avian shifted to Tatooine ONLY (1 million dwarf nunas, dead, a tradgedy) but i have gotten the urge to begin crafting myself, what are some good stats for sub components that will get me over 900 and are relatively reasonable to attain.

sds 72, crdm 65, bec 12/18 (I suppose you could do 18/12 but I wouldn't)

Its gonna take 900/850ish avian and 970+ reactive probably I'd guess.

And Flurry just so happens to have a reactive gas spawn going right now with 996OQ/650+(ish)DR (can't remember exactly)

So.....

Buy 10 heavy gas and HARVEST BABY!

Lucky asses.

Our last good one was 971/630 I think, I'm still using that spawn. Hits 3 hours though, not bad.

the quality of your avian meat and reactive gas make a far greater impact on your buffs than will the subcomponents

if you can get your ASDSs and ACRDMsboth above 60, then it all depends on the meat and gas. for example:

I have:
70 ASDS
65 ACRDM
20c/14p ABEC
900oq/500pe Avian
900oq Gas

And my buffs all end up around 860-875 power. To get any higher, I would need Avian meat with higher PE value.

Also, keep in mind that the PE and OQ of the avian are of equal importance. Even though the schematic lists 66%OQ/33%PE, because the Reactive has no PE value, the PE of the avian becomes just as important as the OQ.

Could you make this a lil more clear?

Best we've ever seen that I'm aware of is 985/383. Wish we had some 950/600+!

I'll clarify, even though you latter posted a 'nm'. I think this has been done before, but not for a while. So, for the benefit of those who have not seen or figured this out already:

Leaving out the ratings of the components, the effectiveness of an enhance pack is based on 66% OQ and 33% PE. That is the AVERAGE of those stats from the avian meat and the reactive gas. However, if one ingredient does not have one of the stats (reactive gas has no PE), it is not counted in the equation at all so:

If Oa and Og are the OQ of the avian and the gas respectively, the average is simply 1/2(Oa+Og). When that is multiplied by 2/3 (the 66%), the OQ portion comes out 1/3(Oa+Og), which can also be written as 1/3*Oa + 1/3*Og.

For PE, the average is Pa (PE of the avian meat), because there is no PE of the gas. As I said the game does not consider a missing stat to be 0. Accounting for the 33% (1/3), the PE term is 1/3*Pa. That means that all three stats (OQ's of the avian and gas and PE of the avian) are weighed the same in the final calculation.

I probably could have presented this better, but I hope that clears it up a little.

Thanks alot guys, that cleared alot up for me crafting-wise. Now to go kill dwarf nunas...lots of dwarf nunas...I hate resource shifts.
