I have noticed something while buffing players. Every now and then I get a menu-reader. I compare them to that person at a fast food place that waits in line for 10 minutes then gets to the front and stares at the menu. The equivilant in SWG are the players that wait in line for 10 minutes, get to the front and then want to know what the power/duration is even though I shout it out every 5 minutes or so. Then they act shocked when you ask them to /tip you. Then it takes them 3 minutes to /tip you.
Anyone else ever get people like this or am I cursed?

Yes, used to get em all the time. Then I stopped general public buffing, and only enhance friends, or people that have proven themselves to have an IQ greater than 0.

When buffing for cash I send a macro /t to the next guy in line all the info
/t Buffie Your next for a buff. I charge XXk. Please use /tip and not bank tip if you don't mind. My buff are XX in power and YY duration.
It serves to wake them up since they are often chating with friends or crafting.
Try this the next time you need to craft. Go into Coro, put upyour AFK, put upyour doc tag, Pull outyour droid and sit down. Then just sit back and craft and people watch. Be sure to have your AFK measage say something fun.
For example:
I have buffs with over 500 power that will last over 30 min. I am only charging 20k per set.
If someone takes you up on it you will not be lieing. Surly your buffs are over 500 and 30 min.

Yes, I get them all the time. However about 1 in 4 people ask me my price even though I bark it out after every person in line.
I have been reciently changing my bark around to see if that helps, and I think putting the quality and duration first and then the price as the last line of my buff helps. But it still didn't stop them from asking. So it is now the first and last line of my bark with the middle line being the power and duration together. We will see if this helps. But my guess is that they won't read it no matter how well I say it. They will ask I will have to tell them when the ask as they are oblivious to anything else except seeing a line in front of a doc.
Here is a good one. A friend of mine was near a starport and pulled out a droid and sat down. This person is not a doctor and said nothing, in a couple of minutes he looked up to see a line of people standing in front of him waiting for a buff.
