2 days ago a got a 1900 3hr buff and paid 12k for it.... most ppl would say thats outrageous. but its not.

after recieving the buff i went to dant and got in a solo group and made 200k an hour. topped off at 560k with 15 min left on my buffs.

now i know being a master swordsman gives me an advantage over other professions as i have mastered all combat proffesions except fencer. and sword does do more dam quickly but u can still make 100k an hour doing missions in an improved job market player city---new hope, dant. on shadowfire

( mission levels go above 99 increasing payouts<-----hint,hint)

if i can make that much in a short time i will gladly pay 12k or more for a buff.. and one last thing if ppl do not like your prices simply tell them:"learn to play or learn to pay, either will increase your chance of survival"

but plz do not let rude ppl frustrate. and understand each and everyone of you is appreciated... just wish they would allow group buffs or all-in-one stat buff..lol

The only problem with this is the new players, who think that 12k is a large percentage of their saved credits (since they have come from the starting planets with 800 credit missions). Try to remember this and try to carry around some cheaper buffs to help them out.

Agreed,

I think buff prices should go up, in fact I said that way before I even started in the doctor tree. I was Master TK and Rifleman and I was making mad cash ... and only paying 10k or so for the buffs that brought in all that money at a time. I felt like I was ripping the Doctor off, in fact I would over tip them just b\c I felt like the prices should be higher.

I think, maybe its just me speaking out loud, if every doctor banned together and raised the prices slowly on buffs you would definately get it. And look at it this way, those people that cant play the game without being buffed who whined and said they will not pay the price and bad mouth you ... would eventually as said above, learn to play the game right, or actually realised they make way more money using our buffs than they pay to receive them.

But again, thats my 2 cents on the matter ...

Normally I'm not one to comment about pricing schedules, but in this case I'm inclined to entirely agree.

I just returned to the game after a few months off, and had to go through and repurchase nearly all of my resources (most of my quality resources were sitting on the floor of my house when I left). Needless to say I dropped over 800k cr on all sorts of quality doc resources last night, no small percentage of which were specifically devoted to constructing my buffs. Put a nice dent in my wallet.

/me shrugs...

I'm still liable just to lend a hand anyway...the biggest gripe on my list atm is actually the tumblers, but that's a whole other post.

I'm just curious, how much do all of you sell your buffs at. I sell at 12k on chilastra for 2.4k and 3.5h. What are your price ranges and do they vary? Do you charge your guild or friends of the guild? and if so how much. I knew a few doctors that sell buffs for 8k, top of the line buffs, when they are either raiding or getting raided by a base. Thanks for your imput

I buffed the public in Coronet last night. My buffs are 2406 for 3 hours, 7 minutes. I sold them for $10K which seems to be the universal price on Naritus.

At maximum efficiency, I figure that's $300K an hour. And that doesn't count costs. I crafted my own buffs, so to me the costs are negligible. I've already recovered my manufacturing costs, so everything at this point is gravy. But if you buy the packs I sell (same exact buffs), you're paying $4,800 per buff. If that's the case, you're only making $156,000 an hour.

$156,000 an hour (heck, even $300K an hour) hardly seems worth the hassle of managing a public buff line during prime time in Coronet. I mean, it's freaking work. There's no chance of loot. No fighting. No exploring. Just keeping a list, and checking your e-mails, and checking how much longer your bivoli is going to last, and trying to keep people informed of their place in line, and responding to tells, and deciding whether or not you're going to give the freeloader a free stamina buff, and paying attention to whether or not you've buffed this person's sixth stat or not yet... I worked at an ice cream store in high school, and this is just what it was like. Mildly fun. Kind of novel. But, really, it's work. Much more so than any other money-making endeavor I've done in the game.

*Please see post above*

That pretty much sums it up for naritus, 10k standard, 12k if I'm in a remote spot like dw cave or something.
