Thread: /healenhance health failing to work as expected under certain conditions

Has anyone else ever seen this? Sometimes, when I use the command /healenhance health, I get the system message that my customer "has no attribute you can enhance" (yet if I Use On Target from the enhance pack's radial menu it works fine), or it will buff action instead of buffing health?

It seems to happen to me whenever one of my customers comes back for a rebuff. Currently my buff pack set has the action buff falling 20 minutes before all of the others. So, typically my customers will come back within that 20 minute window. So, I'm buffing someone with re-apply for everything but action. I /healenhance in the order of health, strength, const, action, quickness, and stamina. The first fails consistently, but all the others re-apply as expected or buff appropriately.

You might try using it in macro form. I have never seen that message before :/

It was in macro form. I have macros do it. The same macro for health works 99% of the time. It's just that it seems to fail under these conditions (ie, buffs with action slightly less duration than the others, rebuffing someone buffed by my same buffs)

I've been experimenting more with this problem, and it pretty much always happens as thus:

My macro is:

/healenhance health;

(wait)
/healenhance strength;

(wait)
/healenhance constitution;

(wait)
/healenhance action;

(wait)
/healenhance quickness;

(wait)
/healenhance stamina;

It's executed when having the customer targeted.

If my customer has all six stats buffed with buffs exactly equal to mine, the health buff command above will always fail with the "no attribute you can enhance" system message. All the rest of the commands will give the "you re-apply x's y buff", and health will remain unrefreshed.

If my customer has every stat buffed with buffs exactly equal to mine except for action (which is unbuffed), the health buff command above will always cause the action to be enhanced. Then the rest of the commands will give the "you re-apply x's y buff", inccluding action, and health will remain unrefreshed.

Perhaps changing the order of buffing would be a bandaid for this bug? I wish the SOE guys would look at this, because it's inconsistent behavior that really drives me and my customers up the wall.

Well I have not come up with that message either but then i don't use a macro either i put the buffs up on the toolbar across the top and when it's time to apply i hit each button in turn. I haven't had any problems that way.

I don't think you would have problems this way, as when I use the radial menu on the actual health buff and select Use on target, it works fine. I think there's a problem with the way SOE's server interprets the parameter of the /healenhance command. I really wish they'd look into it but I doubt they're even paying attention to this.
