If you ask me its really all the same, its not like anything compliments it, i mean all your probally doing is healing yourself and/or applying buffs, so in any case any brawler proffesion goes great with Doc, as does any range.

Hi,
The reason I´m asking is that I want to know if TKM:s meditate tree is of any use for use or just a waste of skill points.
Don´t et me wrong I love TK-skills but I just finish swordsman, so I´m wondering if I as a Master Doctor and Master Swordsman will have a hard time because I can´t heal my mind?, which you can with Meditate IV in TK.

Depends if you PvP or PvE most, and what you kill. For PvP go fencer. For PvE if you just run missions etc TKM or fencer is fine, for nightsisters/krayts etc swordsman is the best. For the mind wounds, you will have to heal your BF anyway so it doesn't matter much.

im fencer, simple reason is all my stats are in my mind, with fencer attacks it uses mind, so thats why i went fencer. This is the same reason you see doc/riflemen.

OK, thanks for the info it helped me make a choice.
I´m gonna go Swordsman for the tougher PvE critters that all seem to have high kinetic resist.

I'm Master Doc and have just Mastered TKA. Being a doc I was interested in finding some Janta Blood for extra boosts to crafting Enhance Packs so I paid the Janta Caves a visit. The 3rd Janta I came across seemed invincible since his HAM wasn't reducing. At firstI thought this was a bug but then realised he had 100% kinetic defense so TKA was no help what so ever. After asking around I came to the conclusion that maybe swordsman would be a better brawler profession to choose as at least you have the 'blast' skill for those pesky Janta's.
BTW.. anyone find Janta Blood exceptionally useful for Enhance Packs?

Yeah I use janta blood on health and action packs, it's nice to buff for 3k sometimes.

Just so you know, TKA is getting a Heat damage weapon in the next patch or so...

Take Fencer if you PvP. Take heavy swordsman or pikeman if you PvE.

This is like the eternal question of "OOO OOO, what's the best prof out there?!?!?!" There really is no answer for this. It all depends on how you want to play. For a good overall balance TKM is nice, for pure pvp and defences gofencer (good luck with pve there!), for some heavy pve and occasional fun pvp go swordsman, for a good misc throw-in of DOT weapons and mass kd go pike. I've done them all, they're all good in one way or another.
Oh and btw, pike IS actually good. That accuracy fable of not being able to hit air with it is totally untrue. Swordsman actually has worse accuracy than pikemen do.
yeah pikeman is good but as a master swordsman I don't really miss with my sythe or power hammer
and my dmg vs Groupsand single targets kicks ass hehe
I just wish i had a use for those NS lances i keep getting
hehe
TKM is good for Creatures, for NS/GEO LABS/SMC Swordsman is better and fencer is good pvp and reasonable in PvE

I'm a master doc/master fencer. In PVE fencer is great against most humanoids - Jantas, Tuskens, faction missions, pirates, Nightsisters. It takes you a little longer to kill these guys than other brawler professions, but you get hit a lot less in the process. It isn't quite as good against the larger critters, but you can still tank. I actually managed to tank against one of those big dragons on Lok while a commando stood back and torched the thing. I was doing nearly no damage but I was able to stay on my feet and hold the critter's attention for a good long while. When the dragon finally went down I had over 1000 wounds to all stats, but I didn't die.
Only one of our lowest weapons has any armor piercing (vibroblade). Only one weapon has anything other than kinetic damage, the stun baton. It's super good in some situations, and utterly useless in others.
Fencer/doc works well for me, but I've been getting the urge lately to try a different weapons profession.
