Iwant to start now looking for top quality resources for my buff packs, and im still kinda new to all the terminology for resources. I saw some where that said to look on www.swgcraft.com to find resources, but when I see them on there, I have no clue where to find them at? What are the best ways for myself, or my fellow guild members (who have already signed on to help me look) to find the top quality buff pack resources? Thank you for all your help, you were all noobies once yourself.

looking on crafting sites is part of the equation-- being cozy with someone with Survey IV is another part.
it's also helpful to be a little proactive. our guild master artisan frequently surveys for resources on his own (or when he's "got a feeling about that iron". this allows us to get a jump on the board listings, which are sometimes late (or too late for the really hot concentrations, anyway). remember, most peeps that tell you "there's a great spawn of X on planet Y!" have already planted their best harvesters on the best spots. don't just sit around and wait. take the initiatve.
