Thread: I can buff the opposing faction while overt?

yeah anyways I was overt one day (as I usually am my guild is big on PvP) and a rebel asked me to buff him and I told him I couldnt because he was overt, well the guy insisted I buff him and he would pay me 70k for the buff whether I could or not, so I thought what the hell, easy 70k and I get to keep my buff packs, well I whip out my droid and hit my buff macro, and to my amazement he got buffed, I was wondering why I could do this without getting the "It would be unwise to heal such a patient" message

you a reb? if your a reb, and buffing an overt reb, you can do that.

You can buff non-overt non-teffed people of any faction whether your overt or not... the problem comes when they are overt or teffed and of the oposite faction (trading doesnt work cause they have to interact with you, but in buffing they dont)

from what I took it as...the buffer/docis a "covert" imp.. and along came an "OVERT" REBEL and paid the 70k or whatnot for a buff anyways.. if this is true.. then it doesnt make sense to me either.

yeah pretty much he was an overt rebel I was a covert imperial and I could buff this guy
I've also been overt and been able to buff coverts? maybe it's just me? I do get a tef when I buff overt imperials when I am covert
