I'm hoping to do something a little productive here and get a feel for how JTL has affected the demand for medical goods:

-Have you noticed an increase/decrease in overall sales?

-Are some of you products selling more than others now? If so what has gone up/down?

Just a quick little poll to see how all the crafting Docs have been doing since JTL hit the shelves (and I'm bored at work ).

Buffing Docs chime in too, how are you guys doing out there?

Initially a big decrease... but then after everybody stopped playing (when eq2 came out)my sales actually rebounded and I'm doing better than ever. At least one established doc on my server quit, and I'm happy to take over the business.

I noticed a drop of sales the first week. But it's building up again, keep in mind that 2-3 of my servers biggest established docs have quit
I think my sales of stims have gone more down than buffpacks.
One thing that has had an increased sale is Action/Health woundpacks

Well, my sales dropped quite a bit after JTL. To be fair, I ran out of avian and havn't had very good buffpacks on my vendor for quite some time, plus the fact that a handful of my best customers (who also became good friends) left the game. I did manage to find a stack of avian that made 790/3hr+ packs. Not the greatest so I thought maybe I'd just unload them at 8k/pack just to get that old satisfying feeling of seeing the "Vendor Sale Complete" emails, but the idea didnt catch on.../shrug

Stims have always been my fastest sellers, which declined a little while woundpacks sales bumped a bit. I never really had spectacular sales anyhow, which is fine. I got into doc crafting because I wanted to try a different aspect of the game, running a business, and I love it. I've never broken 900 power on packs (did hit 3:44 duration though ) or reached a level of fame that my esteemed collegues such as Rehrina, Kvork and Nimnnoid have, but its still tons of fun.

For now I'm stockpiling all kinds of resources to stay afloat and staying hopeful -- The CU may very well change the demand around a bit more in the future so who knows.

For me, the 1st 10-14 days after JTL was releasedcaused my med sales to drop considerably. Enhance packs, Stims and other meds stayed a lot longer in the vendor as they use to. The 1st week of JTL actually gave me the impression that I was only selling Rez packs.

Also, I never really noticed any big increase in Woundpacks sales, and since last week, I noticed thatsales are increasing again. Specially enhance packs. Guess players are starting to get a bit bored with space and getting back at spending some time doing mission on land again.

It hasn't go back to what it used to, though, and I hardly doubt it ever will. But it's gettingbetter already. And that's good enoughfor me. I stillcan do a lot of crafting, but now I also got more free time to do other things. Works fine for me.

What about you, Belili?

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;
Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

Strange enough, after JTL there was a major drop in doctors on wanderhome. Now its absolutely impossible to get a buff unless you know a friend whos a doctor or you go to a buff bot.

Maybe they left because their customers were all in space.
