Ive been playing around with different templates for a long time now, and finally stuck with master fencer as my combat profession. I plan on going jedi eventually, but am only starting the FS quests.

Right now, im thinking about doing doctor 4440 with master fencer, and getting FS trees for melee prowess and healing bonuses.

Basically, im wondering how well i would be able to buff with only that much of doc. I've gota +25/25 injury/wound treatment bio shirt, +25 bivoli, a 110% droid, and since i only have 90 med use the buff packs ill end up using range from 850-900. As long as i can buff around the 2000-2200 range, the template works fine for me, as i plan on mostly using it to buff myself during the FS grind. Also, i'll have the healing bonuses once i get the Healing FS tree, would that effect my buffing ability even further?

Use this http://www.houseofskills.com/buff_estimate.php target=_blank>buff calculator to figure it out for how much will you be able to buff. And bear in mind that with 4440 Doc your Wound Treatment skill will be +75 and not +100.

That said, yeah if you used 850-900 packs you would be able to buff for around 2100-2200. (assuming your using all the skill mods available to Docs).

to answer your question, no. you are stuck at 2200 ish buffs unless you go master. the FS heal will improve your healing, not enhancing. the 2200 range will be your max because u miss out on that last +10 as master. expect to paya lot more for buffpacks with 90 med use

well, i guess the FS healing wouldnt help with buffs at all... but anything over 2100 for personal buffs is plenty for me, as i have master fencer and quite a bit of defense from that, even more once i get combat FS bonuses.

i know a few vendors that sell mostly 90 med use buff packs that are in the 850-900 range, and i have a few doc friends who could craft some low med use enhance packs for me. I basically just want to be able to buff enough to go out and solo without having to find a doc beforehand, would make things quicker with the FS grind. Also, the reason i took novice doc was for the state heals to help against dizzy/stun/intimidate in PvP, though with only master fencer for offense i have to pray they dont have stun armor. Seems like more than half the people i duel dont have it though, wonder why... not very many fencers on our server to begin with.

Been playing about 3 1/2 months now, and played almost every profession, and i have to say fencer is more fun than any other combat class in the game =)

right now im master fencer, novice doctor, and im working on getting doc 4440 (so i can buff around 2100-2200, heal disease and poison, and cure states in pvp)

Im looking into FS trees, want to eventually go jedi and im trying to figure out what trees to get. I know ill be getting melee/ranged defense trees, maybe the healing tree to benefit doc, and luck tree for extra loot. My question is, with master fencer is the melee speed tree worth getting? From what ive seen we already have capped speed, will it help at all? that and the accuracy tree are probably what'll fill up the rest before i can get jedi.

And no double sided lightsabers for me =P i hate that 99% of jedi use them, rather stick with my fencer role and use a single saber, but can anyone tell me what the difference between the two is? Ive heard the double gives more defense, and the single can hit mind, but other than that what else sets them apart?

Uh. Not really. At least not in my server. Basically all Docsthat sells enhance packs in large quantities here only make med use 90 packs. Reason being 50% or more of all the people that buy themare 0440 Docs. And also, because if you have a +12 exp suit you will almost always end up with one or two exp point left once you maxed out the effectiveness of the pack. Those invariably go to med use 1st, and then charges.

No reason to charge more then.
