They broke the tapes waaaaaay waaaaay back. Now if they could just stop the completely useless SEAs from dropping...

Look and see if you can get re-imbursed. Under the "rules", selling a known bad product (Disabled speeders for example) is a instance of fraud, and you are entitled to your cash back. I would be willing to bet that the seller knew they were useless, but still sold them at a price that would seem to the unaware that they are not so. Submit a ticket and try to get your $$ back.

Actually they never worked. Do those also have wound and injury treatment on them? BEs used to able to add in Med Use alogn with those stats, but of course this was back when BE clothing didn't work. Well i know for one my BE clothing vendor back then specifically stated they didn't work and we should petition SoE to make em work.

wait wait lol how the FREAK did you spend 16 months worth of credits on it? that's impossible for 2 items of clothing. unless they costed somewhere around 200-300 million, there's no way it's 16 months of credits. in 1 buff in a solo group I can get almost 1 million credits(as TKM/Master Doc) even if you're not a fighter, just buffing with good buff packs in coronet starport will net you a few hundred K per hour. so either you're A) Exaggerating beyond belief and mad because you didn't look before buying, or B) You are absolutely horrible at getting money. do you do the n00b quests from bestine or something?

I spent 16 million on them. To me that was cheap for being able to save 5 skill points for the money. What else would I spend the credits for anyway. I already have enough 25 per crates of ubber buffpacks to last me for the life of the game. I had a house stocked with 150 pearls and crystals. I had chef products to last a guild the life of the game. So yes I made more than 16 million, I spent a lot of it. The money I spent was what I had managed to save for JTL (assumed ships would cost millions and millions).
The items were a shirt and a sunguard and yes they did have other skill mods in them. Both were +13 med use, +13 injury treatment, and +13 wound treatment. I trust and no this seller well and they had no idea that it didnt work. I wont ask for a refund as its not their fault, but SOE for allowing something like this to remain in-game. The money I assumed is lost anyway. All I really asked for in my ticket was for the skills I dropped to be replaced (master med use, expert med use). However, SOE in its infinite wisdom decided to delete my post about this subject (i was asking for help because I couldnt figure out how to submit a ticket, it wanted me to do all this research first). I decided thats it for me. I simply wont take such shoddy treatment from someone I pay for services. And what really bothers me is some players I talked with about this actually blame me !!! Like its my fault SOE allows such broken items to remain in the game. And of course its assumed that Im one of the 20% who use these forums (i am). What if I didnt read the forums like 80% of the player base ? Anyway. take care all.

man... I mean... When I was in highschool I used to work at a gas station. There was this guy who would come in every other day and spend $50 on lottery tickets... it got to the point where I'd tell him "Hey just give me your money, I'll kick you in the nuts and we can call it even..." he would always reply "gotta spend money to make money.... poor guy... he musta blown $1000 on lottery tickets. The day before I quit I asked him if he ever "won" and he said... (big suprise) "nope"
in closing you should have given me the 16 mill.....

Just bought two med enhanced items that dont work. One was a shirt with +13 med use and other was a +13 med use hat. I assumed I'd be able to drop master med use and expert med use and still be able to use my +89 buff packs. Also now I'd be able to use +91 packs again. Under my skill boxes it says med use +70 / +96 so Im qualified. However it doesnt work. Really nice, thanks SOE for having another item not work causing me to waste 16 months worth of saved credits

And the information police just deleted my post under gameguide. real nice policy SOE. By the way, I did my research before buying these. After combing through 7 pages under a guide for SEA that work and those that dont, I didnt see any mention of my items so bought them

Most of these mods work, however the medical foraging skill is as good as useless, and it would be pointless to use. Also Medicine Use was nerfed and no longer functions.
