Also, look up at the stickied topics. There is one there called "CLICK HERE FOR HELP". 
In that post there is a link for a buff calculator. If you look at THAT post, you will notice the equation for buff strength. It makes use of your Wound Treatment Skill which you finally cap out at Master Doc, with a +25 I believe. Anyhow, the achievement of Master Doctor will help you out.

ok well im 4/4/4/1 doctor and i obvioiusly can't craft my own buffs yet, so i bought some 905p 30use (dont have duration atm) and i thought they'd be pretty good. well first off the buff set had 3 things with 29 uses and 3 with 30 so i wasn't too happy, but it doesn't matter too much. so i apply the extra 3 to myself and find out it only is good for about 1700. which seems pretty low consdiering ppl with 920-30 can get 2400+ (i think)
im not using anything besides me and a 110 droid so that might be it, and im not in a research city; but even after all that i find it hard to belive that the 1700 is right.
i guesswhat i wanna know is if i get master doctor will the same buff do better?
oh and i had no wounds or BF
sorry if its kinda n00bish but im dirt poor now and i can't give away a 1700 buff on ahazi so i am screwed atm.

Get yourself some +25 Wound treatment BE clothes and some +25 bivoli & you should hit 2240 with a 905 power buff at 4441 Doc.

Yup, you need Bivoli and BE clothing. With both of those,a droid, and Master Doc (or at least 100 Med Skill points) you'll do 2488 buffs with those packs. I use similar packs alot, they're relatively cheap and easy to find.

I'm not sure what you meant by that bolded part. If you mean medicine use skill, that only matters for determining what buffs you can use, it does not factor into buff results. Also the only way to have 100 med use is to be a master doc. The modifier that matters for buff results is Wound Treatment. A master doc has +100 with no enhancements and can get to +150 with BE clothes and bivoli. A non-master cannot get higher than +125.
