I am having some trouble buffing over my own buffs. I have a few repeat customers and when they come back for fresh buffs I am unable to rebuff them untill the First buffs wear off. Maybe its just me or a bug but I am using the same buffs and eating food and everything else i can think of and it still dosen't work. Dose anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be?
Thank you for your imput

You can't rebuff with equal power. So you either need to buff then the First time w/o Bivoli, and use Bivoli the second time....or rebuff in a Medical Research player city.

I have been able to rebuff with equal power in the past.
I get the message, "You have reapplied <PLAYER NAME>'s Quickness buff."
Has this changed?

I haven't tried reapplying buffs today, but on Sunday I accidentally (and successfully) reapplied the same Constitution buff to myself, about a minute after applying the first one.

RE-applying is working fine, tested it less than 5 mins ago.
Make sure you are using exactly the same bivoli, check your and targets BF and things like you were not in a med centre, near a med droid etc the first time round. I had this happen to me once, I had two crates of bivoli, both were named +25, but 1 was +25.123 and the other was +25.643.
If all is exactly the same then it will work.

Sure you can. You can't rebuff with lower power, but equal power works fine. My question for the original poster - did you check for battle fatigue?
Doesn't work with me. I have yet to reapply buffs to a person of equal or lesser strength. Maybe I'm bugged.

I believe there is a difference in the way the equal power situation is treated depending on how you administer the buffs. I haven't tried this in a while, but I noticed the difference and picked what I liked. Here are the 3 common ways to buff:
1) Func keyw/ packs on toolbar - In this case (the one I use regularly), you will be able to rebuff a stat with an equal powered pack
2) /healenhance <state> macro - In this case, I believe it will also rebuff a stat with an equal powered pack
3) /healenhance - In this case, you are letting the system determine what stat to buff. I think this version will not rebuff when you are using an equal powered pack.
Just an observation, but haven't used anthing but option 1 in quite a while...

I have always been able buff over my own and other peoples buffs, only time this has been a problem is in cases like bf over 250 or different bivoli etc. In the more recent patches the word null has been concatonated onto the end of the system message but nether the less you can should still be able to reapply with same power buffs.

This is what I was thinking as well, most likely when the person came back thier battle fatigue was too high, I'd bet that's what your problem is. It's not hard to rack up 500 BF in a couple hours.
Don't forget you can check thier BF with /diagnose, I know it's a newbie mistake but it was a long time before I started using it myself (man, that was ages ago

Thank you! I thought it had to be higher buff strength to rebuff. That had caused me some trouble since the action buff has a longer duration (need to make my own so I get them the way I want them).

Well i have tried everything that has been listed here and thus far it has not worked for me. I have a guild mate the is also a MD and she is able to buff over her own buffs as well as mine. I guess i am just bugged or something becouse i have made a test subject of my husband many times lol but in the end i have not yet buffed him untill the first buffs wear off. Weird.
