Hi all,

Need your opinions. Bought a +41 crafting station and placed in PA. Still gettting failures etc on more of a regular basis then i "expected". What should I expect from a +41 station? Are there any REAL benefits to crafitng with these? Our my meds better etc?

thanks

Supposedly your results should improve, but you will still get Critical failures regardless....as I understand crit failures are based on resource stats (Malleability I was told) rather than your skill as a Doctor.

What you should be gettting is more great and amazing results, rather than marginal, moderate, or good results.

Hope that helps.

That's exactly what I've experienced...

The number of crit fails I get on assembly is about the same regardless of station....

But since upgrading from a +10 station and -8 tool (hey I was broke... took what I could get ) to a +37 station and a +14 tool I've seen a LOT more great successes and amazing successes during experimentation.

I haven't seen good reason to use one of these high rated, highly expensive stations. No one's posted solid info before/after results etc.

No one's not even 100% sure if it affects crit fails or experimentation or what.

So I'm not ready to 40k+ for a crafting station that might slightly reduce my crit fails.

Just my opinion

Im not sure it actually matters as to the effectiveness of the station or crafting tool versus failures. It seems more random than anything - I can craft for hours without a single failure sometimes, but then Ill get 14 critical failures in a row using the same resources and the same equipment.

I have one of these "uber" craft stations and if you add a high effectiveness tool to the mix you get some great experimentaion results.

Crit fails are a fact of life, they happen. Just be glad you aren't an architect, think about a crit fail on the final assembly on a guild hall, or player city hall. Makes that super enhance you were working on and lost seem paltry
