I'm currently a master doctor, and 0222 TKA. It's a decent combo for pve, but seems very lacking for PVP. I'm considering Master Doctor/Master Pistoleer for PVP. Any other suggestions? What seems to be the best combo with doctor for PVP?

That's if they remove this silly 5% decay everytime someone dies period (even in pvp).

I'm a TKM/Master Doc. I love this template for both PvE and PvP. Combat Medic and Doc is also a nice route but honestly I chew those guys up all day long. Cure poison -> KD+dizzy -> meditate -> Stand up and finish off. But if they have plenty of room to run then your in for trouble.

Had never thought of Carbineer. I like the TKA a lot for the pvp, if I can keep them from running, if they run and I lag any at all it says I'm out of range no matter what. Very nasty. Mabye Carbineer would be neat. Gonna look into it anyway.

I've been a zabrak Master Doctor with midlevel Carbineer skills since July. It's ahardcore PvP combo and I thoroughly recommend it. The downside of carbineer is the high HAM costs,so when younegate thiswithself-buffs you are left withvery strong PvP abilities.

As a doctor I recommend using a speed-sliced DH17 Short carbine because it's very fast like a pistol enabling you to heal and shoot. It doesn't have armour piercing so it's worth carrying abig slowLaser Carbine for when you need that, but the DH17 Short is my main gun.

It's all about the tactics. Your main attacks in PvP will damage a random pool, but you also have attacks that can damage the action pool. Plus you have action bleeds and a knockdown. So there are many ways to kill people while your buffs keep you alive. Higher level carbineers have good area-effect shots which can really trouble the enemy in a PvP raid.

Pistoleer Doc is for fun PvE. It sucks in PvP. The only useful PvP tool you have is a 8m range knockdown. Carbineers get a full range knockdown. I think TKA is a little redundant since the state clears and toughness overlap with Doctors own healing abilities. Rifleman has the problem that it eats mind and so does Doc abilities, but if you have no problem getting food and drugs and buffs for mind, you could do it. But then again, you miss everything while on the move, so if you expect to be running around healing people (which you shouldnt, leave that to the Combat Medics) avoid rifle. So, Id say Master Carbine. Unless of course you want to devote more skill points....cant get BH, or Commando. You could get the pistol line in Smuggler and add the speed line of Pistoleer. You could Master Combat Medic.

So CM, Carbine, or Smuggler/Pistoleer

I went Master Doctor / Master Combat Medic / Carbine IV for my guy. I have every healing med available in game, I can buff beforehand and stand back from my group and heal at range with my 900+ AoE Stim C's. My attacks come after first engagement when I stand a little behind the mainline troops & beasts. I run up and drop AoE willpower disease, because even if cured the stats cannot be healed back up thus taking away from mind regen capabilities in battle. I follow with AoE mind & action poisons and then fall to the back to go into healing mode. Pop a few action bleeds if things haven't gone completely haywire.

Also with this setup, you never have to want for a group, who doesn't want a Doctor / CM now in PvP. While heal mind does do about 40 mind / willpower / focus wounds it's nice to brings folks back from incaps to try and turn the battle.

I'm a master pistoleer/master doc and when Morven Dee (Tale) comes a callin, I call for back-up. Carbine/doc is the way to go.

I would avoid rifles as they tend to burn mind and your doc skills can't help you with that. A rifle will actually keep you from healing by using more mind than you can afford and leaving you none to stim/heal with.

Master TKA has some scary damage output, but they are easily kited in PvP. If PvE is your thing consider this combo.( buffs and /powerboost stack, add in some spice and an entertainers buff and you got more ham than most pets)

Had a question...looks like people are recommending Carbineer to complement a master doctor in PvP. How well does Carbineer work for PvE. Also, does a person need to master carbineer to see any noticable benefits for either PvP or PvE?

Thanks.
