Thread: Worse Results (Heals,Buffs) after Patch w/ BE Clothing?

This definitely has me wondering if some of the Buffing problems folks have mentioned might be realted to this. I definitely look forward to seeing what kinds of numbers you come up with.

BTW, I'm assuming when you say "heal" you mean stimming? Not too many folk run around with 450 wounds to do those kind of healing level checks on.

I wonder if someone here might have some time to do some testing with their buffs, with and without their BE-enhanced clothing.

I have noticed a drop in my Damage Heals as well post patch. I have 125 Injury Treatment and 125 Wound Treatment.

I have NOT however noticed ANY change in my buffs..... I do at least 20 full sets a day... and the ranges and averages are the same as they have been.

However my heals with 360 stim b's aren't the constant 800's they used to be. I've been consistantly hitting in the 400-600 range.

Ooops. Sorry about that.

Dr. Fesa, do you have a medical droid?

And if you do, do you keep it targeted when buffing yourself?

My Master Doc friend has noticed buffs on others to be performing poorer than when he buffs himself. But he targets the med droid when he's buffing himself...Just something we've been wondering about as well post-patch.

I do have a medical droid... 110 rated.

And I don't believe I've ever targeted when doing any sort of healing/buffing of any sort.

I rarely buff myself... I don't even know if I've done it once post patch. So I can't speak to any results on that.

O.k...My Master Doc friend has noticed that his personal buffs are staying the same while the buffs on others are the ones that are performing more unsatisfactorily.

I've noticed that when I am buffing in the field, if the camp is a basic camp, I will pull out my droid and move OUT of the camp radius.

I seem to get better buff results that way.. like the camps bonus is being used rather than my 110 med droid.

I also have BE clothing.. I'll do some testing later as well.

First off, I am a Novice Medic (3-0-0-0) but I am posting here because I understand that Doctors are also experiencing some problems with results.

I have BE'd Jacket and Helmet that give me a combined +25 Injury/Wound Treatment.

Before the patch (without clothes) I was averaging around 600 points a heal (using 432 Stim B's).

Post-Patch, with BE clothes, I am averaging around 450 per heal.

Post-Patch, without BE clothes, I am averaging around 650 per heal again.

It seems like the BE clothing modifier is _hurting_ my ability to heal. I am going to test this hypothesis tonight but am looking for help from other testers to see if my results can be verified by another party.

I will do 41 heals with BE clothes, then 41 heals without BE clothes to see if the averages come out better or worse. I will report hopefully on Wednesday.

I'm wondering if this is the issue as well. Pre-patch, my testing indicated that basic camps (with a 0.65 heal rate) did not hurt buffs at all. I wonder if they "fixed" this. Also, we have the partially charged droid theory (where a droid will work at reduced effectiveness when not fully charged) to try out.

I've always noticed worse buffs in a Basic camp as opposed to an Advanced one or using my droid. That's why, when in a basic camp, I call my droid and head out of range of the camp. I always thought that was the way it was supposed to be seeing as how the heal-rate in a basic is less then in an Advanced
