Thread: anyone else getting lower base on buffs after patch?

Before the patch I was making higher buffs. Is this another part of the experimentation bug? I would have thought buffs would be a little higher after the patch? I know about the ease of use, yet I haven't heard any master doctor/cm talk about their buffs effectiveness getting lower.

I don't mean what they are hitting for, rather what I am making them for - base buff.

Yes you could be right. On my 710 power D's I get anywhere between 800 to 2600. I think I even got a 750 something bad one. Seems like the variance has been increased.

I don't feel love from the devs.

again, i dont mean what they hit(actually buff) for, I mean what they experiment for... I can't get my prepatch experimentation numbers. Instead of 900's im getting 850's with same material...

I have been using 800 power buffs forever. After the patch i very rairly get a buff over 2k... Seems like all my buffs are below 1.9k. When befor the patch i had alot of luck buffing atleast 4 out of 6 stats over 2k.. now i am at like 1 out of 6. They must have changed something or i just have horrible luck

My problem with my buffs is similar to peeps having issues with rez packs. My buffs are now lvl 92 med use and they are only Action and Health Enhance B's. Guess ill have to make new ones. Wierd thing is that my Rez packs are still the same unlike other Doc's Rez packs that were altered. Bah!

You are correct, I can't experiment above 700 now. I am using all 1000 or 990 ish materials O.Q., P.E. I even use radioactive materials with 990ish O.Q./P.E. and can't get the numbers above 700.

I have also noticed when buffing other players the range of the results are varied. Anywhere from 790 to 2600. Most often one or two are only 800ish. Two are 2600ish. the other two are 1500ish.

When I buff myself, I almost always get two 800ish and three 1300ish and maybe one 2600ish.

I am also very tired of logging out in the evening and when I log back in in the afternoon the next day, I find my buffs are gone but the timers have not reset. This happens for players as well, I just think that most don't notice since they do not usually have a doctor buff available each time they log in.

I even tried leaving my character logged in till the buffs wear off then logging out, but who wants to sit at the computer wiggling the mouse every 10 minutes so the server dosen't boot ya?

All I can come up with is hearing Han's voice over in the noob tutorial saying, "This place is gonna blow." I guess that's about it. At least Han was honest.

Oh my bad.

Yes, I've noticed that using the same resources, I am getting 685-695 instead of 715-720. So the loss isn't as great... but it's still definitely a loss.
