yes i am a master doctor on the starsider server and have been for well over a month after the game started. and ive been doing these great buffs but also these mega crappy ones. and i was wondering, and i think many doctors would agree if doctors could get the ability to remove buffs.

for example a doctor buffs a PC doing

health 2222

strength 2598

constituion 999

action 2986

quickness 3003

stamina 1045

with consent from a player a doctor could then remove those buffs that are low this case being the constitution and the stamina and be able to re-do them to attempt a higher buff.

what do you guys think

In the list of Dcotor Issues (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=doctor&message.id=22459)

Gameplay Issues #3 (Enhance Pack Variability) and #7 (Enhance Griefing/Override)

(*Dev Response:
Zarlor passed along the following summation from Ben “Marvelin” Hanson’s response on the Correspondent forum on 10/28/2003:
“Currently they are thinking they will go ahead and leave the variation as is, but enable us to overwrite existing buffs. There is the problem of determining which buff is better (is 500 strength, 3000 duration better than 750 strength, 900 duration?). But, they expect to figure something out there. (Anyone have any suggestions?)”

[Z’s Note; A poll was concluded on 12/1/03 regarding the question regarding power or duration which was overwhelmingly in favor of higher power buffs overwriting even a longer duration, but lower power, buff.]

DeathHawk - Here for forums. I'll consider coming back when they revamp Doctors.

At eighty, I think what I shall regret are the things I always wanted to do and never did; the experiences I denied myself because I was too concerned about others opinions or too anxious for their approval but what I think I would regret most is a life wasted living as a person who was not me.
