I have been searching for Janta blood ever since I learned of its existance and uses for my medical supplies. The problem is i have gone to the Janta Strong hold on Dantooine and with the help of 2 Fellow guild mates cleared the cave of all Jantas. Literally killing hundreds and I have only looted 3 Janta Combat staffs. Frustration is definitely in order. Am I doing something wrong do I need to kill them with certain weapons to spawn the loot? What do I do?

weapons make no difference in the loot......

Janta Blood is just that rare. You can check out the FAQ for more info, if you like, but I think you've just been struck with a run of bad luck. I've killed hundreds of Jantas myself and only once did I get a Janta Blood drop.

It would be nice if this stuff would drop frequently enough for it to be useful.

I just had my third Janta blood drop yesterday. Each one has been the exta same, 10 jars of it. Power/Charges same on all of them. I would say that I have killed THOUSANDS of Janta, mostly because I hate hairy-backed cavemen, but more so because I looooooooove Janta knives.

I find that I have better luck with loot running janta missions than doing the POI. Hope that helps.

I have cleared the entire janta stonghold probably 5-6 times, and got 1 single **edit** Janta blood. I will trade you 50 stone knives with dot's on em for some lol

outtacontrol, im on the valcyn server as well and do janta missions with my guild members all the time (mostly for the $) but i have yet to find janta blood on any of the ones we have killed. A friend did the janta caves and found nothing there either. If there would be any on jantas, u would find them on the shamans or the herbalists. Hope springs eternal for me and I will continue to look for the elusive janta blood

yeah, target the shamans, your chances are much better getting blood from them

too bad there's no option to *extract blood* on a dead janta

I've not tried searching for any though
