I should make master doc this weekend( yay me) and was wondering what your best selling items were?

Also how do you figure how much to charge for your items? Or just flat out what do you charge?

I was thinking the best selling items would be stim b's and woundpack b's but in what crate sizes. Is there a really a market for components and the more advanced medicines?

My top sellers are Enhance D packs, Cure Cs for Poison & Disease, Stim Bs, and Woundpack Bs (in that order mostly).

I charge based on stats mostly (feel free to peek at my price link in my signature), but the economy from server to server varies a bit. You might want to take a look around your server and gauge what is a 'fair' rate, then try to price it somewhere in that range.

I can't remember where or when, but I once saw the following pricing equation that I use for stim packs:

strength*charges/8 credits for each stim pack.

A stimpack B with 350 strength and 35 charges would thus cost 1531 credits (I'm rounding the fractions down). A crate of 50 of these would go for about 76k credits (again, I round the numbers down rather generously). If the strength is low, I'll divide by 9 or even 10, since these are less useful except possibly for entertainer grinders with a self-heal in their macro.

Callyndra has nice formulas...

Snails, are you familiar with factories and producing crates? I don't want to sound overly academic, however purchase a few Food/Chem factories (Required for advanced meds anyway) And use them to produce creates of meds and subcomponents..

You can then split up these crates into smaller segments as well as pull out individual items for sale.

Whenever I do a run for the vendors I will always split my crates of 50 into 6 crates of 5 and 2 crates of 10.. just for some variety..

back in the day crates of stim b's sold like crazy. Seems like now people sell d's with the med use turned down. I see a lot of res packs and enhance packs on vendors with the med use experiemented down a bit.

My best sellers are Enhance D's, by far. I make nearly all my money supplying the docs who buff at starports. Before I started selling enhance packs, stim B's were my mainstay.

I can vouch for that. I spend about 500k a week buying buff Ds to buff at coronet star port.

Yup, almost entirely all my money comes from supplying other Doctors with buff packs.

Not to mention that we can be out doing whatever we want, or even offline, and still make money from vendor sales. It only takes 2 or 3 buffing docs who like your packs for you to make a very nice living. The drawback is that you are sometimes a slave to your factories. Then there's the amount of resources needed, especially the avian meat. Still, I find it's much more fun to help some scout/ranger friends kill some birds so that I can get avian meat then it is to sit at a starport and buff random people. I only did the starport buffing a couple times and knew it wasn't for me. I had one regular customer left (not counting the friends who get freebies) who I kept buffing until last week, when she became a master doc. Now she buys my buff packs.

It hasn't been a hassle for me. I've been buffing on gorath for about 3 weeks and all but 4 of the people I buff were very nice to me (those four now share the very exlusive club "ignore list") I once had somone ask if I would buff him now when there were about 14-15 people in line and I sayed 150k makes you next and he came up and traded me 150k most of the people in my line laughed, only one was upset but he was about 12th so it wasn't like he was getting stiffed that badly. anyway I was buffing each person in less the 3 minutes so I don't know why he was upset. anyway I got a good laugh out of that and I'm 140k ritcher then I would have been if he had waited in line.

I actually turn a lot of people down, because yes, I am a SLAVE to my factories.

I have 6, thinking of maybe going to 9.

The worst part is how damn slow factories are.

1000 of any subcomponent takes right at 40 hours

If it wasn't for that I could churn out more packs, as my resources (except herb meat) are plentiful.

Mainly selling buff pack sets to other docs.

Just put 30backpacks of the the following buff sets up(look for EPI vendor on planetary map Naboo, SS if interested).

Master Doctor Buff Sets
(Crates of 10 for each of the six stats)

Enhance Health
Power 869/Duration 13192 (3hrs 39mins)/Charges 30

Enhance Strength
Power 874/Duration 13192 (3hrs 39mins)/Charges 30

Enhance Constitution
Power 876/Duration 13192 (3hrs 39mins)/Charges 30

Enhance Action
Power 912/Duration 13374 (3hrs 42mins)/Charges 30

Enhance Quickness
Power 874/Duration 13192 (3hrs 39mins)/Charges 30

Enhance Stamina
Power 876/Duration 13192 (3hrs 39mins)/Charges 30

I charge 1m which makes each buff cost the doc 3333 to buy so the mark up is ok. I also stock thousands of wound Bs in crates for 1k per pack mainly because I make them in large runs (I have 8 factories) plus I use the down time on my factories to make Muon/Pixie which I run as a sideline selling for 6k per crate. Any other items I sell (currently crates of 30 Fireblankets mu66/cure eff 476/uses 45) are because I needed some so I did a factory run and am just selling the excess. Stim Bs are still a good seller too btw.

To do all this I buy avian and herb at high prices plus spend A LOT oftime hunting herb meat in game.
