Hey All,

I finally got ahold of some Bespin Port which is suppose to get a +11 bonus on experimentation. I currently use the medics apron which is a +5 as well. I noticed after I drink the drink, my experimentation stays at 100/+105. I have noticed no improvements after drinking Bespin Port. Anyone have any ideas about this. My packs range from 875-900, the 900 on a lucky day. Or is 105 a cap?

Look aroud at some of the other Doctor threads, or search for bestin port.

You'll find out that it's been well-documented by now that bestin port does not give you extra medicine experimentation skill. What it does is make your experimentation attemps more often "great success" and "amazing success" than failures.

If one shot worked for an entire experimentation event, then it'd be useful. One shot per experimentation attempt is useless I think, even making purely schematics.

I have used it a lot lately. I have not had one failure when using it. I also found that I could take a larger chunk of blocks when I used it..

Bestine Port is a must for crafters with +X experimentation points high enough to get any bonus points and or player who reatail goods. I make this stuff for my own use and the products I am able to produce using via schematics and bulk runs are alot better stats then those who are not. My wife is a master chef with +25 experimentation clothing for food.....before id put in the 12 points making a schematic id be lucky to get 7-9 boxes filled out with the bestine port. I rarely loose a box. Yes its time consuming but if your interested in producing quality product its worth a try.

I'm disappointed in it because I thought I was getting an extra experimentation point when I drank the +11 experimentation stuff I bought.

I drank the stuff and tried it and I didn't get a failure but I got a couple of moderate and good successes. That sucked. If I get anything less than great successes (on buff packs)I usually throw the batch out because it's not going to get to the level I want (2400+ buffs). I had a better success rate using a 44+ crafting station where I got 95% Great successes.

maybe using bespin with the craft station would increase my amazing successes, but still - it's not worth 250K a crate which is what I'm finding on Radiant.

The best time to use it is when you are making something of great value and do not wish to get a critical fail. For doc's this is not very often. For WS making a kryat weapon this can be a very big deal.

For docs using looted items such as Janta blood this may also be worth the investment.

Yup, that's when I use it. Janta blood packs when I absolutely 100% do NOT want to fail.
