Hey, Im a noob doctor and after reading your board I noticed that youre a helpful bunch and could probably answer a few simple questions I have. Right now my PA needs a doc so we can go out on group hunts and such without too much fear of death.

Anyway, here are my questions:

What is Bivoli and how does it work?
What kind of stats would I want on my BE clothing?
Im on the Eclipse server, could you suggest a waypoint or two of where I can buy high quality stims and buffs? (Buffs of all attributes please)
What kind of power do I want on my buffs? I heard that I should never settle for less than 900. Is this true?

I thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

I believe its a food that adds to your injury/wound treatment? I think, never used it sorry.
What kind of stats would I want on my BE clothing?

The best you can get is +25 injury/wound treatment, that is what you should get, relatively inexpensive for the services it preforms.

At master, yes, you should pretty much settle for only 900+ maybe a few high 800's. If your not master already, then expect to be able to use less powerful ones.

I thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

Yup, Bivoli enhances your wound treatment skill.. Up to 25% for the best stuff. Bivoli will stack with clothes so, with a 110 med droid, +25 clothing, +25 bivoli, you are in great shape!

I use 25 Injury/Wound Treatment pants, no bivoli (except for special occasions) and currently have packs around 850. My buffs still hit at 2100 and if I pop some bivoli my buffs jump to about 2400. Do you need 900+ packs, no but they are very nice to use.

Yup, can add up to +25 to wound treatment, which will improve your buffs. Stuff tends to be pretty expensive.

There is often some confusion regarding BE clothes. As mentioned, the most skill increase from ANY Be clothes, in any combination is +25. Even if you get a shirt with +25, and pants with +25, they will NOT add up to +50. It will say it does in your skill sheet, but the actual function is limited in the code to +25.

Not quite true. With the static buffs, the difference between an 800 pack and a 900 pack is only 275 points of actual buffat best, with bivoli, BE and a top droid. If the extra time and moneygathering the absolutely perfect resources is really worth 275 points to you, then so be it. Honestly anything above 800 is perfectly acceptable in my opinion, and much easier to aquire.

I thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

A food available from master chefs that is a plus to wound treatment; it stacks with bio engineered clothes, which of course make your buffs better.

The "cap" is +25. Most are +25 wound/injury treatment, and that's what you'd want.

I'm on Bria and I can't help with this one, I apologize. I imagine some doctors sell there, as to my experience on Bria there are more doctors who buy, than make.

Nope. I find that anything over 730 is fine, anything over 800 is desirable. A 730 power pack, with a 110 droid/+24 bivoli (I don't think +25 is possible) and +25 clothes will hit to 1999 every stat. Before ppl start with the 730 power sucks; I make 875s for sale everyday, I make 1100s for PvP (hard to do lately) but I hunt with 730s that have almost 4 hour duration. I've never died with a 1999 buff, ever.

I thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

Being a soon to be noob doctor as well, can I ask a question?

If I am 0-2-4-0 and have 800+ packs (med use 90), +25 clothes, Bivoli and a 110% droid, what sort of power would my buff deliver?

I will master the profession properly but my guild is keen for me to be an effective 'buffer' as quickly as possible. They are willing to buy me buff packs before I can make them (hence my question) and I am wondering about which trees to complete first.

Thanks in advance.

The same power as a master doctor, a straight 800 for example would be: 2191 power.
