Just bought myself a nice lttle 110 med cap r2 unit. Now, how often do I need to replace the droid battery? What other maitenence should I be ready for? This thing didn't come with a manual.

When you try to do something that requires power (like buffing or healing with your droid out, not crafting) and he's out of juice, he'll spin around to face you and a little *low power* sign will float above his head. The 25 crate of 3 use batteries I bought months ago has 9 left, and quite often I'll delete batteries if pack room is critical.

If you plan on taking your droid into combat, make sure you carry a droid repair kit along with an extra battery. I don't really recommend having a droid around in combat but there are times when you may want to have it out, such as in combat when a group member dies and you need to buff him/her in a hurry during the 60 second "helpless" period. The last thing you want is that nice new droid of yours useless because some aggro decided to attack it.
