I just hit up a tumble up with a quickness buff, instead of a quickness disease.Oops. I must be a "newb **edit**tard" as he claims, he then got his disease when he challenged me to a duel and i diseased his mind.(4404 Combat Medic) I lost, but but the time i came back to heal he had 1/1 mind left. No more tumbling tonight.

so harsh, lol. Don't worry they will be gone with the holo grind, all what we will have are buff bots and real doctors no more grinders, hehe.

I dont' think they'll be gone, just less common.

I used tumblers for both of my master docs. Neither one was for a holo. First time I was just trying out different professions and the second time was for my current alt/dedicated guild buffbot.

Doctors are in demand and are profitable, so people will still become docs. Also, lots of PVP/PVE players need med xp if they are going to add doc/cm to their combat template.

he he this reminds me.....

I had JUST got to buff level (I was 0240, im only 0440 now) and I thought a productive and charitable way to earn xp would be to buff people. I have my med 110 droid, +25 clothing and bivoli plus a set of 90 med use pack so I thought lets give it a go. I advertised free buffs to the first 10 people, explaining I was buffing for the xp and my buffs would only hit for 1700 for 2.5 hours. I quickly had a line and worked my way through it.Next a real a$$ turns up demanding a free buff. I had set my limits for freebies and needed training so I told him this and made to leave. I got a load of abuse saying he had come here from another planet (he had heard from a friend i was doing it) and it cost him money blah blah. I pointed him in the dirction of a master doc close by who was buffing for 10k. Next thing I had a duel request followed by more abuse. So I hit my macro that equiped my armour, PSG, damage sliced stettin jawa, vasarian, canape and accepted. He was a mid level (unbuffed) commando so it didn't take long to send him to the clone centre.

Was I mean?

(I guess it's handy for us to have a combat profession to support us. It can let us put thoseawkward customers in their place every now and again.)

And if he /reports you for griefing for throwing that buff on him you could end up banned.

Yeah, and if people reported us for healing them I suppose we could get banned too.

Maybe SOE should work on banning people who are exploiting first; but what do I know.
