the problem with what you described is that it would be very easy for the Doc to exploit for cash.
Doctor + Wound healing mission + Commando/CM friend = $$
Medical missions are something that have been requested for a long time.A good, exploit proof method, that gives the Doc/Medicgood and interesting set of missionshas not really come forward yet. Keep thinking about it though.
A couple ideas I thought of for Medic/Doctor wound healing (not damage) missions:
- Mission is time based (like entertainer missions) where the Medic/Doctor has to be in the Med Center for X amount of time, and heal Y amount of wounds. Example, a Master Doctor grabs a 10K mission to heal 5000 wounds in the Med Center with a 1 hour minimum time. Pet wounds could be disallowed. This would make the Doctor sit in the Med Center for at least an hour, and get paid for being there. If the Doctor leaves the Med Center before time is up, missions fails.
- Still be time based missions. However the mission is to heal X amount of wounds of Y amount of people. Example Master Doctor grabs a 12K mission, with a 30 minute minimum time to heal 6000 wounds from at least 20 different people. Pet are also excluded. Even with a guild helping 20 people would have to be burned, diseasedor wounded and the doc would still be there for 30 minutes. It just wouldn't be worth the 12K.

Heh... I didn't really finish reading Travin's #2 suggestion. Mine's pretty much identical
My only main difference is I wouldn't limit the healer to the medical center. I personally like to pull my droid out at the mission terminal before we go out, or in camp after a rough fight. Those heals ought to count to.
But maybe there could be some sort of incentive added to keep the med center manned. Maybe something besides cash credits. Like if healing was done in Med Center on different peoplethen you get half of your wound packs replaced. or something like that. Anything that's paying cash or extra xp would probably be exploited, but there are other ways of creating incentives. I agree with Travin though that 12K / 30 minuteswouldn't be enough incentive for me to stay in the Med Center healing. I can make easily quadruple that buffing myself and running high level solo missions.
