should you be able to tell if a person is dead or just faking it?

Why? I guess that you are meaning that Smuggler's shouldn't be able to Feign Death on a Doctor?
Interesting... Maybe Docs should be able to 'revive' people who are feigned? That would be cool.

That would be awesome! I find it repulsive that currently the only counter to a successful FD is a Jedi ability. Being a BH who faces Jedi who use FD, it's like the devs are laughing at me!
I would say just using /diagnose should counter FD. Anyone agree? ![]()

Tell me this then ... if the jedi FD's does the title over his head change to "corpse of dead jedi"?

Of course not. The player's icon denotes the Incapacitated position, but it also has the Feign Death state next to it. As a player you know that they are feigning death, especially since the HAM bar won't be empty. As a matter of gameplay, though, you'd think a Doctor would be able to do something as a counter to it. Makes sense to me.

A big YES from me. Seems like a good exchange for the upcoming buff - nerf.
It should TEF you though.

sounds good to me. I had never thought of it until seeing this, and now it seems stupid that we cant diagnose such a thing. Have the /burstrun ready for when you tef though. Next question is, how much would we charge Bounty Hunters for this little bonus if it ever went into effect?

It is something a Medic should be able to do, and it should not even work periodon a master doc.
You should get a skill / radial menu option to expose the FD player.
This is not a fair exchange for changing buffs. Buffs do not need to change.
The game needs more fing CONTENT!

But just like a true rez, it would require the /consent of the FD player....

but why would a FD player consent to a 'rez' after all FD is used to avoid incap or DB.
to allow your self to be bought out of FD doesnt make anysense
