Thread: How do these meats compare?

I'm wondering how the stats on these two meats compare. I know the first one is quite desireable, because it's been selling for quite a bit on Eclipse. But how does the second one stack up (the new shift that replaced the Emief), with the supreme OQ and higher DR, with lower PE?

Emief, Dantooine Herbivore Meat
DR=590, FL=434, PE=696, OQ=903

Eosxelusa, Dantooine Herbivore Meat

DR=790, FL=396, PE=466, OQ=997

(I'm a Ranger who hunts where the hot shifts are, but I'm wondering if I can stay on Dantooine longer or if this won't be in much demand. I like hunting on Dantooine. Pikets have no bones, so they go smoosh when I hit them.)

It makes 66 ACRDMs, the first one.

The 2nd meat is pretty good as well It would make 64 ACRDMs, possibly 65. Not sure. I'd hunt it still, even though with the last 3 shifts of meat almost all doctors should have their fair share of meat now Doctors will always need herbivore meat, so it's always a good idea to hunt herbivore meat if the OQ is over 900

The new stuff is certainly good enough to hunt. Crafting docs go through herb meat fast and generally are not as choosy about herb meat as they are about avian. The higher DR makes no difference, because DR doesn't matter on herb meat. It's OQ and PE are good enough that docs will buy it, though.

Thanks for the input, guys, I appreciate it. I'm trying to learn as much about chefs and docs (and BEs) as I can so I can better pick what and where to hunt. (What's ACRDMs, though?)

Some of my contacts might want me on Talus, though. Look what just moved in.

Eufoa, Talusian Avian Meat

DR=660, FL=367, PE=968, OQ=944 **

If only it'd drop in higher amounts. /sigh

As a ranger the key thing to ask yourself is credit per hour. To figure that out you need to know credit per unit (cpu) as well as units per hour of hunting (uph).

If your trying to pick between the avian and the herb you will need to know both the cpu and the uph to make a good choice of where to spend your time.

As for the two herbs as stated before, both are good meats and will sell well. If your server has been through a nice spell on meat then you may want to sit on it for a while and sell it later. My advice though is hunt while the hunting is good.

That avian meat you mentioned is very good. I believe when you find the cpu and uph you will find that it is better to hunt the avian. It is much more rare to find avian with those stats.

very interesting just as stocks of apriema and pisro are dwindling, here comes another super avian for eclipse docs to get tons of, while my server of choice for my doc, Starsider languishes with mediocre avian meat to use we cant even get 900 power.
