ok, so we all know right now enhancers seem to be broken, or atleast not doing much.

iv been testing out my intendeddoc templatea little on tc, not very much unfortunatlysince i crash every 5 min and usualy give up after the 3rd crash, so i havent got much real testing done

but one thing i can not work out is about the health buff. Now the frog buff is named new level master doc buff, or something to that effect, it buffs for +50% health and +75% regen or there abouts.

now as many others have reported here our buff hits for 10% buff and regen, all the time.

iv tried it as master doc, master doc master medic, master doc master cm master medic. Now with those the enhancement efficency modchanges, can get it up to +110, and i assume this is the mod buffs are supose to work from.

the enhancers dont seem to work for me, but are supose to be a 10-30% boost, now my maths arnt great and this is far from any real calculation used im sure lol , but say 10% base buff+ 30% enhancer= about 13% buffs. Now the frog buff is 50%... seems like more of a 500% boost to me, and its being named as doc level buffs.

now my question is, is the enhancement mod actually effecting our buffs, or are they being calculated with a +0 mod and hitting for base. Hard to tell i know, but it was just an idea that poped in my head while trying to work this out, i figured it may supose to be going something like;

enhancement efficency mod (say 110)+ enhancer (say 30%) = 143 enhance eff / (guessing here, but say 3.5 to make it fit) +10 base =~50% buff.

but instead it may be more like

enhancement efficency mod (0)+ enhancer (30%) =0 enhance eff /3.5 +10 base =10% buff.

now thats just makeing the assumptions that the 50% frog buff is with the enhancer and isnt just at the wrong values, i just find it funny is all and thaught id throw the idea out there to see what everyone else thinks

Read the tooltip on the frog buff. It indicates the frog buffs are stronger than will be available from doctors and should be used for testing purposes only. As I see no reason to be testing buffs that will be multiples stronger than will be available to players, this is nothing but an attempt to shove the cu down everyone's throats and claim it's not as bad as many make it out to be.

you are indeed correct, i had not noticed that, only looked at the percentages lol

but it dose seem counterproductive to have people testing the balance of thegame with 40% extra healthand 65% extra regen, not to mention misleading, especially with the frog buff named "new doctor level buffs"i mean i was trying to test these things and i missed it, and i have not seen any referances on the forum to the effect of them being higher than possible when live either.

i imagine a lot of combat types who missed this and dont realise till it goes live will not be very happy atall, and i cant say i am either

Never took the frog buffs but yes I have to agree, what on earth is the point of giveing people such stupidly over powered buffs for testing? What do they achieve that could be related back as informative for the live game?

I don't agree on the reasons though, I think it's more of an oversight. After all if it was intentional this would just be the Devs setting themselves up for more needless trouble when the CU goes live, as an awful lot of testers would want to know what happenedwith "the buff nerf" when they wen't back to their regular toons.

Let's not get paranoid just because we seem to be ignored at the moment; I'm as annoyed as the next person with the way things are being dealt with but it's more mistake than malicous.

but say 10% base buff + 30% enhancer = about 13% buffs

That would be if the Total Buff power was: 10% Initial Buff, and the Enhancer was 10% of 30% (3%). Add them to get 10% + 3% = 13%.
50% does seem a bit too powerful, but with the currently, apparent "broken" enhancers, it could be 15 - 25%, which would be good enough, for me.
