I'm looking to educate myself and the people who I will be fighting with about Doctor in the CU. There are a lot of new effects, new commands and it's a bit confusing.
Has anyone done a FAQ yet, that runs through what the various commands are and what they're for?
For example:
1. What kind of buffs are there? Type of buff, duration, power, etc.
2. What kind of healing is there? Jab, stab, spray, what are the differences and what are the best uses in combat?
3. What kind of inoculations/resists are there?
4. What kind of cures are there?
O.

Docs are only getting one thing in the CU and it involves an examination and some KY Jelly...
only jokeing.
No I havent seen anything as of yet as to the new Doc Faqs. they are changing Doc around so I wouldnt expect to see one come out till prob after the CU hits with the final tweakings towards everything. As Doc stands now, most of the Docs that would be able to write very good Faqs on it are leaving or have left.

Enhancers arent working on TC yet (unless not working is how it is supposed to be??). Anyway, its hard to put together a comprehensive list with things as broken as they are. See the /bug thread below for more info.

My main point is that there are folks who want to just actually test Doctor and see how they work in a group, especially in PVP. Some folks aren't particularly concerned about crafting, which seems to be pretty much the only thing being discussed here.
We're on Test Center every day putting together groups and getting into PVP battles, working out which templates are good for tanking, ranged fighting, mezzing, etc. Doctor and Combat Medic are the main healing professions so we are understandably curious about how they work.
Isn't *anyone* doing any documentation about this stuff? I mean I'm sure we're all sorry you can't craft anymore, but isn't anyone moving forward?

Currently, crafting is pretty much the only thing that can be tested. Enhancers are bugged currently (at least the ones for docs), so they cant be evaluated. If you want to test a doc in PvP, just make one and follow your group into a PvP battle and see for yourself. Afterwards, post your findings here.

Heh, I did, and I was overwhelmed by the number of new commands. I figured that some people who have been invested in being Doctor might actually care about the future of their profession rather than just complaining about the part that belongs to someone else now.
Silly me.

/bactainfusion - single-target healing damage over time, ticks for around +50 to +60 health at MD/MCM
/bactajab - instant single-target heal, about +320
/bactaspray - AoE heal. Havent tested myself yet.
/bactatoss - CM ranged single-target heal, heals about +730 as MD/MCM
/disinfect - anti-DoT, havent tested myself
/stabilize - state cure, havent tested myself
All others are either CM offensive weaponry or Doc buffs if I remember right. List might be incomplete because I only tested the abilities that I can craft enhancers for.

Are enhancers working on Bacta stims? They seem to be working ok on CM stuff, although its really hard to tell, since you dont get any sign about how much damage the Cm meds do (no tick over the head or combat spam).

I tried enhancers on Bacta Jab and Bacta toss. Couldnt notice any difference. Its hard to tell because there is some randomness involved, but enhanced uses ended up below non-enhanced ones as often as they ended up above.
My enhancers only had an efficiency between 550 and 650, though (but charges above 220
). I didnt take the time to try the frogs for great resources. Is there a list with the resource stats of the stuff given by the frogs?
