Thread: To sum up what the Cu Has done to docs.....

1) Rendered all of our present meds virtually worthless, in many cases, bankrupting some doctors
2) Rendering a whole lot of avain meat to a much less value, with out consideration to the effort it takes to gathor said meat.
3) Ruined the doctor play style of more then half of the doctor comunity.
4) Stole skills from us and gave them to BE with out meaningfull compensation.
5) Turned pride crafted med heals into "bacta" magic....
6) Took our one real way to make money.. we cant take enough combat to make money, and we cant craft enough with out dumping all combat to make money...
Im really trying to find some positives here, but the more I play my doc on ts, the more I hate him.....

I completely agree, Arryth. Very well said. I used 2 veteran resource rewards to get the best avian meat that ever spawned, but what is the point now if I can't craft. Even if I do become a BE and craft, it doesn't look like the meds will do much and I'll have to spend a lot of time looking for some fairly obscure resources. I've been playing since June of 2003 and this is the most discouraged I have ever been in this game. I keep trying to find the good news here, but I'm having a hard time.

I thought I was going to continue begin a doc once this hits live, however I have now been thinking of alternate templates...

It really does hurt doesn't it? I freakin healed my brain off to become master doc, and they've reduced it ( i'm sorry enhanced it...bah ) to nothing but a medic. I've never even buffed for money either...i'm not complaining about the money. They've crossed a line with this update, the problem is that more than a few people are happy about it....they were all like Doctors make a billion credits buffing people...and now they're like special ed....YAY! Docs have nothing to do now...YAY! Docs won't make money now...To those who are happy with this update, have fun on the 2 or 3 severs that will be left in a couple months.

I agree with Aahzz. If SOE doesnt care weather we like what they are doing or not they will understand it full and well in 2 months, maybe less, after the CU. Before the CU on TC I would have said "I'll be playing this game for a long time to come." Now I could care less.

My 1100+ power Stim E's are nerfed to 600. It doesn't appear that I heal for any more than the medicines power and I heal at the speed of a medic with a couple boxes.
They might as well just take doctor out of the game.

lol, it's funny you know. The devs stated that since Docs no longer need organics, the harvestinc proffesions need buys, so they increased AS organic requirments by 4X...... I can't be a doc anymore, because I have to harvest stuff for my AS....
I'm begining to wonder if they actually thought this whole thing out.
