Today's update:

"Added in BactaShot 2 to Doctor Master"


Has anyone tested yet? What's the point of BactaJab at master Doc? Both BactaShot 1 and Bacta Toss heal more than BactaJab... anyone else notice that?

Bacta Jab is intended to be a lower power but faster timer heal (300ish) while Bacta Shot is was intended to be a higher power but longer timer heal (700ish).


You can get the details in the sticky compairing different heals.

I tested the new BactaShot today.

U have to replace the improved BactaShot icon with the advanced BactaShot icon.


i did around heals for 820pts.without enhancers. So it seems they added around 100(or about 15%) to the power of improved BactaShot.

- Yes, it's good (see above from other people for hard numbers) pointless, but good


2) What's the point of BactaJab at master Doc?


- Zero, zip, nada....


The first 2 skill tree of Doc deal with heal /states and wounds.. these always worked fine

In fact they worked well enough that players were trying to devise ways to make $$ with them

Adding another Bactajab makes no difference whatsoever

It's like fixing the bartender buying drinks, pretty pointless

The main problem is the other 2 skill tree of Doc involving buffs

The buffs are short, underpowered, and no other profs could care

This is like having half your template useless

If BH had half their skills ineffective, watch how quickly people would drop BH

Kinda like what's happened to Doc

I would disagree here. I use BactaJab very often and it can make a key difference. It has a fast recharge timer so in a heal per time since it is as good as BactaShot or Toss.

I would say that my most used heal is B. Toss simply because of the range (dam noobs always run from me when I am trying to heal them). After that it is a mix of shot, jab, and spray.

When you have Jedi or multiple people (or MOBs) attacking you with heavy fire... every heal option you can get is useful, regardless of how weak it is.

master medic/master doctor with a +18 healing bando = around 800 to 900 bacta shots and 300-400 bacta jabs. haven't tested healing with my canape yet though which is like +49 healing.throw a stim D in there with a bacta infusion macro and a few foods, tkms look like a wannbie tank.

I actually try to get all the agro when I'm group hunting. I'm a BH so I use Duelist stance to reduce the number of hits landed against me and then focus on healing myself instead of everyone else.

Bacta jab is very very fast. I have said it before, if you hit bacta shot and que jab the will go off almost simultaneously. Shot + jab = big heal
