Thread: Med XP Bug?

i recently picked up med so i can heal others and heal myself some good portion too...when i tried getting xp, i either got 0 xp for like 10-20 heals or got about 2K worth then went back to giving me no xp...is this is a bug? cause if its not, medics suck and i hate the devs

No, its not a bug.
Medical xp is now only granted for heals during combat.
When you healed people out of combat, you got 0 xp.
When you healed people while they were in combat, you got medical xp as soon as the mob they are fighting dies. The amount of medical xp you get is equal to the amount of weapons xp you would get if you killed the mob yourself. Should you fight the mob and heal yourself doing it, the xp will get split between medical and weapons xp.
The reasoning behind this is that the devs wanted to get rid of AFK tumbler grinding, and figured this is an easier implementation than to get rid of recursive macros, which they have promised for a long time now.
