Sorry maybe this has been talked about. I am presently searching the forums on the issue.

What about all these meds I had pre CU, that have now changed.

I had a good stock of Buff packs and wounds heal packs, that now after the CU they appear to have been turned into garbage.

If i as a doc can heal with a command, what good is any buff / would heal pack?

It appears as all meds are not needed by a doc because most are just a command now.

Not trying to complain here, I would likesome constructive advise.

I spent around 7mil on meds pre CU, and would not even thinkof spending that much on the useless medsI have now.

I have this same question.




  1. Should I just delete all of these Buff Packs I created before the CU?

  2. Are they "worthless"?

  3. What about all of my resources? Avain Meat, and what not?

  4. Does the Bio-Engineer use this stuff now?

All crafting docs took it up the a$$ with the CU...period. We lost millions of credits and the devsall said it was intentional so chalk that gooey feeling in your hind quarters to the vindictiveness of the devs...


The healing docs have their playground now as they are useful in combat, the crafting docs either become full time walking amulances, or respec to BE. I went BE myself and yes, 0004 BE will use the resources.


Regarding the converted packs, they're not necessarily "worthless" however they are going to be in very low demand. I would recommend posting a few on the bazaar for a mid range to low range price and see if you can recoup anything, (I imagine some of the bacta enhancers may be worth something)...

Wound packs were transformed into bacta toss packs, the equivalent of the old ranged stims in the CM trees. AOE stimpacks were turned into bacta spray packs.


Buff packs, state heal packs, rezz packs, and fire blankets were turned into a variety of things, mostly new buff enhancers that do not seem to be working.


As for wounds, there is only the inate magical ability of doctors to heal them, it seems. No packs needed.

Actually, in an interview, the developers said that it was a misconception that things are now "useless" and that resources now are worth just as much as before the revamp. Of course, these are the same developers who said the revamp was bug free before it went live and that the reason there is so much trouble was because the testers (paying customers) didn't give enough feedback.

They BLAMED us for live revamp problems. I'm not making this up. This is what they are saying to the public...then they come into the forums and tell us they knew the revamp wasn't completely working and to "stick with them" while they continue to fix it. That's who we give our money to.





Tip to LEC/SOE: Sci-Fi MMO players don't necessarily belong to the same resource pool as fantasy MMO players.
