Thread: swords or tk with doc?

im having a hard time making up my mind on which would go better with doc....swordsman or teras kasi mastery.
i unfortunately dont have too much time to test both out the way i would like to so im hoping that i can get some advice.
which is better for :
pvp:
pve:
solo:
groups:
Im looking at the amount of damage a tkm can soak up and thinking that would be nice to stay alive so you can heal more, etc, but then you would be giving up the damage of swords.

One of the good things about the group set up the way it is, is you only have to get one hit in to get full xp for the kill. If you heal during the fight your xp will be split up depending on how much damage you do or heal. If you have a strong group then your fighting skill dont have to be much at all. I am trying both TKM/Master Doc and Master Swordsman/Master Doc and TKM/Doc you take less damage from the baddies but you do much less damage to them as well. So I am thinking if you have friends to group with all the time then TKM may be the better choice, if you have to go alone or with very small groups Swordsman might be the best simply because you can kill the baddie faster and get xp faster. Downside to Swordsman/Doc and a small group is you could die faster if several baddies happened to jump you.

Or go tkm/master swords/ doc 4000 .... gives you good healing .. but no buffs .... which are, except for adrenalin boost, neglectable anyway ...
You can also choose for doc 2002 instead of 4000 ... giving you adrenalin boost+Endorphin and serotin enjection ... but at the cost of +25 healing efficiency and improved bacta infusion.
Then you can fight unarmored, take a lot of damage (get be'd +25 def clothes) ... use CoB .... powerboost ... deal a lot of damage(high max Hammer)....heal pretty good (get some be'd clothes for an extra +25 healing efficiency, which you would normally get from MD) ...
Good for solo and pve ...

The main advantage of the TKM imo is still its powerboost (+500 Health buff) and that u dont have to wear armour (innate armour = 6000 - add a Center of Being +4000 and u are good in taking damage). This makes even room for BE-clothing boni.
With my pistoleer/doc i waste a good set of armour in 3to 5 group hunts, as i draw insane agro with my healings now and i guess as swordman u are even more into the 1 on 1 as a pistoleer.
With TKM i dont have to look for a new set of battle armour every 2 weeks.

I'm Master Swords/Master Doc and I can hang with a full template jedi with master defender, 0404 Sabers, some enhancer and some healer. Being able to heal big is important. I take being able to heal and buff over being able to sit there and not do damage. It's my playing style though I guess. I tried TKM with Commando and hated tkm. It reminded me of the unarmed 4 grind all over again.
