As I have a open ticket for more then four days without a response, and have not seen mention of a bug (though submitted to ./bug as well 2 wks ago) I am posting this here prior to finally giving in and cancelling the account.

I have a doctor, which does not have the capability of crafting stimpack C or stimpack D.

  • They appear in the datapad under schematics available

  • Using a food&chemical crafting tool (tried several)

  • Have a house with a Full personal craftings station (food/chem)

  • Tried using a droid with crafting station module (food/chem)

The problem is when opening the crafting tool, there is NO option to select stimpack C or stimpack D. Many of the other crafting options medic, master medic and adv. doctor skills get are listed, such as enhance packs, but stim C/D is never available.

I understand stim D takes a factory, but thats for the schematic and doesnt answer the issue with not being able to do stim C's.

Has anyone encountered this who can help resolve the issue before I just hang up white cloak, close the office doors and cancel the account as I am done waiting for the non-replies and lack of in-game support. At least with DAOC and other games, you were able to have 1 on1 conversations with a staff member to help resolve issues.

I am working towards Novice Doctor, have master Medic and I can no longer make Stim-A's. Not that I really want to anyways.

I think you can only craft C + D's near a chem and food crafting station, until you get higher up the doctor's medicine chain. I'm a novice MD without any doctor's medicine and I can craft c and d's when I'm either near a crafting station or next to my surg droid.

Make sure that you have the food crafting station targeted when you use your crafting tool. All high complexity items cannot be created with out the station.

I've never noticed that you need to have anything targeted, you just need to be near it.

Do the schematics appear in your datapad?

You need to be next to you own personal crafting station, either in you house or in a driod

Do you have other crafting stations in the same room as your personal one? I've found that the crafting stations' radi of influence seems to get bugged if you have more than one type in close proximity to each other. I've got a Food/Chem and a Clothing/Armor station in one room together. I had to put them on opposite sides of the room and need to sit right next to one or the other to get them to work.

Thank you all for the responses.

Yes, The schematics are in the datapad.

Yes, the personal crafting station is targetted while in my house

No, there are no other crafting stations or droids with crafting modules in the house or area

Yes, it is a food and chemical kit which was I even made new ones to try them, as well as purchased from other artisans

Yes, standing in front of the station. Also tried to the side, behind, real close, other side of the room, sitting, and also while patting my head and rubbing my stomach in circles.

Here's something to test.

Stand directly in front of a food/chemical crafting station (public) in town. Open up your food/crafting tool (not a generic crafting tool) and create a Stim-A. When you put it together, you should see the "Experiment" option.

If you do, then it's recognizing that you are indeed in front of a food/chem crafting station.

If you don't, then the game isn't registering that you're in front of the station.

You don't need to have it targeted... your character need only be within close proximity of it. For one in a house, you must have administrator access of the house.

I'd be interested in knowing how the Stim-A Experiment test turned out.

As dumb as this sounds, make sure you're standing 'in front' of your food crafting station in your house. I've had this happen to me if I was standing right next to the station, but off at an angle from it. Also try sitting down in front of it to craft, in case you're suffering from a lag issue (I've had that happen before, too). Finally, I seem to recall a bug where some people could not access certain schematics. They could also lose skills.
