Thread: Zarlor: 2 items for your list
1.Heal timer still broken. After waiting for the timer, you must wait another few seconds to actually be able to heal.
2. When a schematic uses 2 of the same subcomponent, 2 Advanced subcomponents are treates as normal subcompents. IE. When building a stim D. 2 Advanced BECs == 2 Normal BECs.
1. rather than broken I would say they need to be more specific...if slef healing is designed to be always 10 secs despite diagnosis, then the message needs to reflect that. Lag is also an issue in some of the timer stuff...but if it says u have to wait 4 secs then i should be able to heal after 4 secs...this is true for almost all timers: stims, ranged stims, first aid, poisons...
the only timers that seem to work are the 2 that tell u when u are ready to heal again..wounds and buffs...
2. this problem was fixed...my advanced comps in all my packs are now pumping up the power and charges correctly...this was adefinate stealth fix...making AOE heals and Stim Ds with advanced comps no problem
interesting...i madea a few AOE stims and Stim Ds on sat night that worked fine with advanced comps...
unless something happened on sunday..ill try again tonight
Stim D using Advanced BECs 666 Base Heal 49 Charges
Stim D using Regular BECs 686 Base Heal 45 Charges
If that's the 'Advanced BEC' in action... I think I can do without it.
wow thats an impressive base D...
....never seen a base D with that much heal value and that many charges...
my AOE stims have gone up exactly 11-12 charges from the advanced BECS since my base BEC is 6-7 charges and my advanced are 17-18 charges...
so i got exactly what I expected....
Elenora,
Does the effectiveness of ABEC have any bearing ... it seems to only effect charges?
depends..if u pump effectiveness rather then charges on an ABEC then it will pump ur effectiveness...
tho this is a total waste since chargesonBECs are the main determinant for charges on the final product....
Liquid Suspensions seem to be the biggest determinant of heal value...
I never got to check on this last night, but are you sure it's not an experimental variability?
I would make a BEC using exactly the same resources for your Advanced BEC. Put it all in charges. Then make 1 unexperimented BEC with garbage resources to get something very low.
Then make 3 Stim Ds using everything that is the same, except for those BECs.
You'll probably need to make a couple to make sure you get the same baselione. Compared the numbers for an unexperimented D where the inital creation was the same success level (i.e. if you didn't get a "great success" on creation, don't bother with it.)
Hopefully I will have some time tonight to try this.
