Thread: Food and chem factory
I've heard that it's a known issue that a factory can only make 100 items per day -- but once the servers reset, that resets. I had the same problem. I made a run of items, and around 100, it stopped and would not make any more of anything.
Since I had the input hopper filled with close to 100 items, re-deeding wasn't an option. The next morning after server-reset, I started up the factory and it worked fine. So there does seem to be a 100-item-per-day limit on factories currently.

I got my food and chem factory last night and set it up and busted out 2 crates of Advanced Biological Effect Controllers. I then decided to make a crate of advanced Liquid Suspension. I put in my new schematic and ingriedents and then got a email about 5 minutes later saying it was finished and didnt make anything. So i returned and 6 of each resource was gone and nothing was made. I then remember somthing about food and chem factoires only being able to do one run of items a day due to a bug. Is this correct? Am i going to have to spend 3 days just making trivial components let alone a full item. Any input would be appreciated.
Has anyone else had a problem where the factory will simply stop and complain that it ran out of an item even though that item is in the ingredient hopper and is not in a crate? This happens to me a lot.
I manually pull all the ingredients out of their crates to add it to the hopper to make a stim, and then start the factory only to find that after it uses the first ingredient, it complains that it cant find the second ingredient. If I then shuffle the ingredients around a bit or add some extras, and restart the factory, it works. Just another bug I guess?
