just curious recently bought a suit of composite thinking i could just buff mysefl so i could wear it but this does not appear to be the case

No, your base stats need to let you wear the armor. Buffs will only allow you to regen and do specials at little cost once you have the armor on.

Yeah we've seen several reports of this and I have it on the Big List of Doc Issues in case the issues pops up high enough to make it into the Top 5 so MAYBE we can get a response on it. Not sure if this is "as intended" or if it's just a bug, though.

You CAN use your full set of armor when buffed up. What you need to do is
1. Get your buffs
2. Wear all the pieces of armor you can.
3. Eat some food (any food will do)
4. Go to step 2. Repeatuntil you're wearing your full armor.

Buffing will allow me to wear a full set of Composite that I could not wear without...so I would say Armor does not "ignore" buffs.

Yes, you can buff yourself to use a set of armour that normally wouldn't be able to. I've done it myself, and have assisted others with doing so.
