I still see we have quite a few folks that feel that docs should be relegated to the med centers. Has anyone ever heard of Combat Docs? I spend 90% of my time healing in combat. Anyone ever seen M*A*S*H?

Now granted usually they were not there at the actual fighting but many times they where a stones throw away. Docs belong in battle!!

I believe you can heal wounds in battle, if you have an appropriate droid. Also, you can heal at scout camps. Yeah, some people seem to think doctors should only be in medical centers. Doctors can be in there too though, as we can assume free health clinics do exist in the SWG... although they really shouldn't be free

Having a docin a fight is a great thing. Anyone that says otherwise is an idiot. I've been in a number of hunting groups (on Lok) and people just can't deal with not having a doc in the party. I've seen fighters come and go without as much as a "Hello" or "Goodbye" but, when it's time for me to go, there's usually a bit of pleading and plenty of thank you's before I take off. As much as I'd like to think it's my charming personality or my stylish doctor's smock, I'm sure it's not.

Now, if I could just get people to stop running around when I'm trying to heal them...

"Come back here, dang it! How am I supposed to heal you when you're running around?!? Yes, I know the Snorbal is trying to eat you, just stand still and let me stick you with this needle...."

That could be because it's difficult to find fellows who like to give away piles of cash. (j/k)

Don't get me wrong. I don't walk away empty handed. I usually get the meat from our hunts - that's my payment. Of course, I do make some cash from the missions, as well. But, you're right, going on such an expedition isn't cheap for the doc.
