Thread: Results of Med Center Tip Study
Hello,
After several days of healing in the Med Centers around the galaxy, I started to think there were some patterns in the way people tip us Doctors. Curiousosity and bordom meshed to lead to the following study, and the results, I felt, were interesting enough that I thought I'd post them for my fellow Medical Professionals.
Some Background. I began this study as a Novice Doctor (0-0-0-0), with Health and Action Wound C's, and all sub-wound packs as A's. Also, I am a covert Rebel.
Planet/Town: Tatooine/Anchorhead:
Total Patients Healed: 52

Looks like your results got cut off?
In any case, it may vary from server to server (I'm on Flurry) but I found Anchorhead to be a very different place from other cities. It's an openly Rebel city with a lot of PVP players and I found many of them expected and would even demand healing and rarely tip. It's a great place for a novice medic or doc to get XP if they can cover their own expenses. =)
Yes my keyboard took a dive and posted a tenth of my message, 3 times. I'm rewriting it now, terribly sorry.
i find on bloodfin in AH i am usually the only high power medic there
(4-4-4-3) doc... it seems when i heal people black to full.. they just say thanks and run off, but when the guildies with 100 wounds or so come in i heal em and they tip, its weird.
