Ok i want to get other players oppinions on this....

Im thinking of starting a shop on Flurry that focuses on selling all the specific resources needed to make Advanced Components for Medical Supplies. Possibly later on hiring on others to collect High Quality basic resources doctors need as well.

This would save docs time collecting resources, and also would allow them to purchase very high quantities of these resources insted of 500-1000 at a time on the bazaar.

Sooo what ya all think? Should i try this?

Yes this is exactly what I would like to do to. It is a real pain going to all the different planets and harvesting the advanced components. Trying to find all the advanced components resources and just the regular good organics and inorganics in quantity for factory runs is just a big time sink for doctors who could be out being doctors. A store where doctors could buy all the resources they need and get factory crates of components for there meds all in one place would be such a big help. You could also have the doctors trade/sell the resources from there planet for the ones other doctors have brought in. Even if thecost was a little bit more finding all you need at one shop would be worth it. The time and travel cost saved would actually make it cheaper and it would be much more reliable then searching bazaars. If each doctor was able to just harvest what is good on there planet at that time and go to one shop and be able to trade/sell it and get resources that are not good on there planet. Then that shop would be very useful. It also would be great for those who dont harvest or dont want to have a factory just to make components for the meds that require some from crates.

It would require a lot of time for the person doing it to run it right and to make sure they are stocked with what is best and needed most. I say talk to all the doctors you know and see what they think. I am sure most will be all for it. I know I wouldn't mind a one stop shop.

I, along with some associates, are in the process of doing just this. I already sell my stimpacks through a reseller that has four locations throughout the galaxy (2 on Tatooine, 1 on Corellia, and 1 on Naboo). I have suppliers that help me gather the resources I need for my stims and, once in a while, they come up with some excess that I can't use on my own.

I just had a discussion last night with my reseller about gathering some of that excess and selling it in his shops around the galaxy. We need to get the kinks worked out, but I hope to go live with this very soon (within a day or two).

In addition to resoruces, I've been contemplating selling crates of subcomponents so folks can go right to making stims/medpacks/whatever without the trouble of making subcomponents first.

If you're interested in details, such as shop locations, contact Bulbados in game. I thought the most difficult part of this venture would be getting word out that the resources are available but, if I can do that through this forum, all the better.

Let me know what you'd like to see in the shops and I'll use that information to get the best stuff available out to all of you docs that need it.
