Thread: Command to join a med center?
I was wondering if this is true and if it is, what is the command?
He may have been speaking of /register
which is just short for /registerwithlocation or /registerwithstructure, one of those two
/register is the only command I know. But it doesn't effect your buffs or skills any, all it does is tell those who are looking at the planetary map that there is a doctor in the med center for that specific city.
As many of you have noticed on the planetary map (Ctrl-V, default), you sometimes will see a crescent moon or a shining sun type icon next to a listing. Most often, you will see these listing next to your standard city cantina or medical center. As a general update given to the healing professions, the /registerWithLocation command has been made available for characters with an “elite” novice healing profession skill. By using this command inside a structure listed with a crescent moon, the character can allow other players to know that there are active characters manning the location. Similarly with the top tier HQs (Detachment Headquarters – and “in development” Strategic Base) which automatically show on the planetary map (as well as top tier camps established by faction-declared Rangers), elite profession healers may /register. In the event that the registering character is declared to the same faction as the HQ (or camp), a variety of effect bonuses are granted at the time of healing
- Doctors: Medicines receive a +25% effect bonus
- Dancer/Musician: +25% to mind buffs, +10% wound/fatigue healing
