Thread: New factory problems
Please post any new food/chem factory problems that you run into post-patch here. As I run across them I'll do the same.
Issue 1: Factory Maintanence: "You must select a positive amount to transfer to the maintanence pool."
Try paying maintanence on your factory and you'll know what I'm talking about. They added a slider bar, pretty useless for this task. I get that message(Issue 1) when I enter less than the default(twice current maintanence paid)amount that they give you. I don't get that message with the default or greater amount, yet the factory still won't take it.
use the /pay command to easily get around this..
target your factory and type
/pay 1200
i think they also added a /addpower command so you can do that like this too.
I open up the menu, get the box with slider bar. On the left, there is the Total Funds box with all my credits. On the right, maintenance.
I had 4250 credits in current maintenance. I changed it to 4255 and hit ok. You successfully made a payment of 5 credits...You can't remove credits by entering a number lower than your current factory maintenance payment.
Commands will work too, but I like this new menu better. I'd like it more if I could remove power/maintenance, but that's another issue.
Sounds like a confusion issue. Folks are probably so used to seeing some number and thinkint aht is what they must pay> In the previous example walking up to my factory and seeing 4250 might make someone think they were going to be paying 4,250 MORE credits into the factory, instead of just seeing the factory telling you what it currently has in it.
I like the idea that the factory tells me what is already there and then lets me add to it. It would also be nice if it said how long that maintenance will last right there as well.
Actually, I don't see this as much of a problem, but I wish it was consistent from maintenance to power. When you select to pay maintenance, you get current funds on the left and maintance pool on the right. That's fine. When you go to add power, it gives you your available power on the left and 0 on the right. So, in the first case, the value on the right is the intended amount in the maintenance pool after you've deposited something. In the second case, the number on the right is how much to deposit.
They work, but it would be nice if they worked the same. ![]()
Dang it all!!! Are all of these *censored* slash commands documented anywhere?
You used the abbreviation AKA, which stands for 'also known as'. So one could read your post as saying 'harvesters also known as vendors'.
But I had no trouble understanding what you were intending to say ![]()
oh yeah, they jacked redeed cost to 2500 without telling us (previously 1500 to me)
because of this there goes 50k since i deleted my factory without looking
sigh
