Hi guys,

Up until now, I've only been concerned with fighting profs, however, I decided to attempt Doc for money reasons amongst other things..

Now I'd saved up over 1mill & I reached md last night having spent over 700k of my cash..

I will be buying mybuff packs which is cool.. I've already got aseller. What I do need to know though is a couple of newby questions... Simply cos this is my first crafting prof...

1) What sort of BE clothes do I need?

a) What clothes do I need to getbetter crafting?

b) What clothes do I need to give better buffs?

2) What else will help with giving better buffs? is there a particular setup you can recomend?

3) What's the best droid setup to use? I got a basic lvl 6 droid whichwill let me buff outside but what else is good to have on a medical droid?

All help is appreciated.. thx in advance..

Hi and congrats! It hasn't been too long since I made Master Doctor myself, so I know the feeling.

To answer your questions:
1) a)There are only one kind of normal BE clothes, and those increase your wound treatment and wound treatment speed (try getting a piece of cloth with +25 on both - that's the cap for bio clothes, they don't stack higher). Use these when buffing.
b) For crafting there are special aprons...from a theme park schematic maybe? I don't know too much about those, but I do know you need to gain a +10 medicine experimentation bonus from them (I think +5 is max for the cloth, the rest is gained by skill tapes and such) in order to get that one extra experimentation point.

2) For more kick, use bivoli tempari. It's a food chefs can make, though it is rather expensive. At maximum it'll give another +25 to your wound treatment skill, which enhances buffs. Also halva has been reported to work when reaching a high enough modifier...I haven't tried this yet and forget the value that it needs to be above, sorry.

3) Just as long as the droid has a medical rating of 110 you're set to go.

Hopethis helped.

1) What sort of BE clothes do I need? Injury/Wound treatment speed...capped at 125

a) What clothes do I need to getbetter crafting? Med crafting Apron helps..not by much tho

b) What clothes do I need to give better buffs? Same as #1

2) What else will help with giving better buffs? is there a particular setup you can recomend? BE Bivoli..not sure on the spelling...it's been awhile

3) What's the best droid setup to use? I got a basic lvl 6 droid whichwill let me buff outside but what else is good to have on a medical droid? Any droid with a 110 med rating

All help is appreciated.. thx in advance..

Congrats and welcome to the profession.

1) What sort of BE clothes do I need?

You don't necessarily need BE clothing but it does help. Get clothing (or pieces of clothing) that gives a total of +25 to wound and injury treatment.

a) What clothes do I need to getbetter crafting?

There's a medical crafter's apron that gives +5 to med assembly and experimentation. Having the apron alone though will not yeild highly noticable results. You'll need +10 pts of med exeperimentation to get an actual experimentation pt.

b) What clothes do I need to give better buffs?

See the answer to #1. Also consider taking Bivoli (gives bonus to wound treatment).

2) What else will help with giving better buffs? is there a particular setup you can recomend?

A medical droid that has a med rating of 110. Buff outside structures/camps when using a droid. I believe the med rating of the structure takes precedence over the droid.

3) What's the best droid setup to use? I got a basic lvl 6 droid whichwill let me buff outside but what else is good to have on a medical droid?

My particluar droid setup consists of an R2 unit with a med module, food/chem crafting module, item storage module, data storage module and repair module. Item storage comes in handy. I store a crate of each buff pack, bivoli, brandy, etc.
