flying things forget name but you can get missions on them but only give 6-12 units each

Not all flying things give out Avian meat. On Bloodfin, there was a really good spawn of avian meat on Rori. When I checked all the flying creatures, they were all herbivore or wild meat. I wound up finding a spawn of these durni looking creatures, but they gave out avian meat.

Reptilian flyers drop avian on Dath... Good hunting, I wish we had the same at Chimera

This quality has been on Flurry for a few weeks. Slow going collecting, however.
This site is the best for a list of creature drops. There are a few omissions but it is more than a good start. It is also a great all around Doc advice post.

Reptilian Fliers are the only things that I know of that drop avian meat on Dathomir. Fortunately for you, however, reptilian fliers are some of the largest avian meat sources in the game. Here's a real opportunity to rake in a lot of avian meat - plus, they're not horrible wimpy, so that's some good xp for anyone that wants to hunt them.

Yeah, people are already offering unlimited harvesting contracts at 110 - 125 cpu. I have no idea how they can afford this though.

On raidiant we had some 995/935 Avian meat show up. I spent 60 million on the meat at 100 to 125 cpu
