Craft ABECs. 18 Lok Wheat + 18 Tat Fiber = ~86 exp per
I just dropped my harvester on Lok fora week while hunting and grinding FP, just bought the Tat Fiber for like 1.5 cpu with the procedes from the missions I was grinding.

I hate to say it but why ABEC's.... Lokian wild wheat is expensive at the best of times unless you harvest your own... which I can't yet. Wasted all my cash making MD...
you use 6 of any old inorganic & 6 of any old organic per BEC.. You get 36xp.. this means you get more xp making BEC than you do making ABEC & the grinding materials are far cheaper cos you use whatever you like?
Sorry to flame being such a newb at Doc but I'm just being logical here.. BEC is the easiest & cheapest. plus there's not much that can beat it xpwise when you're grinding & can't makethe good stuff...

First of all, it takes about 3 times as long making regular BEC's (closer to 2.5, but we'll estimate). Usually, you can get grind quality Lokian Wild Wheat and Tatooine Fiberplast for 2-3 cpu, which is about the same price you are going to pay for any old grinding organic/inorganic. The high quality stuff can cost a lot of money, but quality is irrevelevant when grinding. You can even probably find what you need on the bazaar.

The thing about grinding is that it makes you hate crafting later wich can actually be sort of enjoyable It isnt the same as when you solo some lair that you thought would be impossible but hitting a nice hi power buff for good duration from the materials you hunted down bought or harvested your self is rewarding. Craft some things youll actually use as a doc, like the stims you macro heal with or sit in coronet hospital and use, you can run a macro to craft each componant seperately, and youll get more xp plus youll be able to actually use the items you just made so whatever you spend for resources isnt a total loss.
With that worthless tidbit out of the way.
When i was crafting just for the sake of xp I crafted ABECs also I did use the macro and 4 stations wuch were timed just right so i could keep the macro looping w no trouble. I here the argument on the standard bec's but 36xp per or 86 xp per....As afar as cost goes crap lok wheat and crap tat fiber arent all that hard to come across cheep. I extracted my own fiber in a little over a week using the small extractors (2) and then i went to a baazar found cheep wheat and sent a tell to the person selling asking for a decent price on 30k of it ( I over shot on a guess)

What? You get more then 2x the exp for just a little more preptime! Just go to Lok, and throw down a harvestor for a week and do something else, like hunt or enjoy life. Poof, you got your wheat. If you again, just put down a harvestor on a decent concentration and leave it, in a week your ready to start grinding. You could even use this week to start the other three trees. I must have spent only like 20k on Doc on a whole, and I just have to craft that 18k Lok Wheat into some med exp.
about bec or abec: 3*time crafting or using a little more money/time on doing it faster - you deside
