I'm also posting this in the Doc's forum to get their views as well, but here is the scenario.

Last night I healing wounds and continuing my climb towards Master Doc and I was healing people who were factionally aligned and those that were unknown. At some point I healed an 'unknown' but didn't think any of it at the time.

Some time later an Overt member of my faction entered the cantina I was in - next thing you know is the same person I healed earlier returned with an opposite Overt status. End result was my factional ally was killed (and unfortunately cloned before I had a chance to rez him). In some ways I could be considered responsible as I aided the enemy.

So this got me thinking, in the context of the GCW - should I heal/buff/etc toons that are not factionally aligned with myself?

Can I choose not to buff these people? How should I deal with hostile /tells, etc?

Any thoughts and/or advice?

Ok here goes, I may get flamed for this.

To deal with hostile tell, simply /addignore (persons name here) that way you wont ever have to hear from them again and if their friends starts to spam tell you again. Well just rince and repeat.

And do reconsider before you choose to not buf unknowns. I am neutral, being a form factioned member but got tired of all those 1337 doodz that think PvP is fun. I am a master doc so any that need my services are more than welcome, so long as they are covert and not TEF'ed. I also buff any who asks for one, be they imp or rebel alligned I do not care to speculate.

I hope this will help you a little, and dont get down over the masses calling you names. Simply ignore them and I am sure you will be a good doc too some day.

You do what you see fit. On Infinity, I often see people selling buffs to only their faction brothers and sisters. I usually only sell buffs in Corolag when I'm bored, and I will buff pretty much anyone who pays. Unless of course they're overt Rebels, then I can not.
