Thread: Have buffs been 'stelth' nerfed?

hiya all,

just a post about my post-patch expereinces with buffs...

Dant outpost...Master Doc, 900 power packs, +25 wound treatment clothes, +24 bivoli


with 130 BF (yep, 1-3-0)- buff for 1500 enhance...get the message 'your BF is affecting the strength of your buffs'

trip to contina ....nil BF

2400 enhance on each one....


is this an 'undocumented' feature? - or a nerf that SOE didnt tell us about?

are you buffing yourself or someone else?

ive noticed that when i have a rather high bf (600+) i get that system message whenever i heal my dmg/wounds or buff myself...but i can buff others normally....but if i have 0 bf, and buff someone that is ovee the limit (i dont remember the limit) i will get that warning. next time, if u buff someone and the stats come out that low...do a /diagnose and check there bf...if its high, tell them to visit the cantina and ull continue there buffs when done

someone else (a customer) - but I definately got the message 'YOUR current BF is reducing YOUR medicine's effectiveness' - just checked that for certain on the logs....

yeah - didnt check the targets BF as I read it as it appeared - ie; MY bf was affecting the buffs...

perhaps Im stupid....hehe

Ok - how I wish I had an edit button - anyway - can I ask for everyone's forgiveness if I've mislead anyone inadvertently. I was just reading the screen as it appeared.

I'll go and hide away in a corner now for a bit.....
